Newcomer's Nyphomaniac bow [Fun][Unupped] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=37438.msg470409#msg470409
« on: March 13, 2012, 02:33:08 pm »
I was inspired by a FG oracle's counter based on Nymph's tears :
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 8pp

I asked myself  "And if i use all quantum types for Nymph's tears ?"

I have bilt this deck :
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 55k 55k 58o 58o 5bs 5bs 5f0 5f0 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5l8 5l8 5oc 5oc 5rg 5rg 5uk 5uk 61o 61o 8pp

I havn't used bone pillars because i dont like the grey nymph but it' just my opinion

Its more powerful than i thought :  works not bad on AI3 but it's a bit slow (it a good stall deck for me anyway)

I'll probably add some stats (if enough people ask for)

I'll write a guide for this deck (because i think the manner i play it isn't obivious for all, so i must write it!)

Please tell me your feelings about it !

well, you have no trouble in getting the nymphs in play, but you will hardly be able to use their abilities due to lack of quanta overall... you probably need novas in there and quantum pillars and just use a more strict number of nymph types in the deck

Indeed, you might as well just focus on 2-3 types of nymphs...
Good ones include blue nymph which can produce UG every turn, golden nymph which is a powerhouse with draw abilities, purple nymph for amazing CC, gravity nymph vs rainbows (not too useful in AI3), green nymph for the 12 attack after adrenaline etc.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

All pillars? http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=34689.0
A bit fat, but still operable.

<To All>
The deck is just slow at the beginning (3-7 turn without creature is sometimes hard but survivable)
I have sometimes to wait in mid game for quanta, that's right ,but i think that's the price for a very stable deck

Anybody whants stats or it's just pointless ?

<To Absol>
So my deck is just a copy :(
I have searched a bit in rainbows decks ... But not enough ?

<To Mathematistic and Poker Alho>
Hey the idea of this deck is to use as quanta type as i can !
Anyway i think the same as you two : golden and purple nymph are probably the most powerful combo with nymph

You might want to check out this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,34689.0.html) deck.
Yeah i have seen it (thanks to Absol ! :D)
I whant the community to decide if this deck is original or is just the TStar's Nymphbow with minor changes before i continue to improve it ...

Its quite the same in its current state, but if you try to specialize it in only a few nymphs you might get somewhere :)

No offense, but the concept of your deck isnt that good. You need a long time to get small Atk creatures out + you won't be able to use their skills that much ( its even worse that the opp could accumulate a lot of CC in that time). This might work ok for AI3 but in PvP youll get smashed like nothing. And I cant imagine that you would have any chance against AI4 or higher.

Some Tips to improve it:

*Focus on 2-3 Nymphs, so you have the Quanta to play their abilities
*Get Shards of Readiness in, than you dont need Quanta to get abilities
*Try a deck like this out:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4ta 4ta 4ta 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i8 5i8 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pp

Made this one myself, and its a lot of fun to play. Shards of Readiness give you free abilities (e.g. nymph queen with free nymphs tear every turn). Quantum generation is quicker + you have some CC if you have a slow start, so you can outhold longer without being crushed. Only downside is that you get random nymphs.

Who can have 3 same shards ?
For sure your deck is better ! but it's not a newcomer deck ...

I just have understood that my deck will be destroyed aganst an intelligent opponent ,without play it in PvP
It's just common sens for me : just 3 turn without playing monster is enough to place a succeful CC strategy which is the mortal weakness of this deck
Now you know it , i know it , people who read this will know it : it's not a FG grinder or a succeful PvP deck thus it just not a PvP deck
