Title: Kanji Learning Decks
Post by: Monox D. I-Fly on October 09, 2016, 02:21:23 pm
Hi everyone! :D I am learning Kanji, so I want to make a deck for each Kanji I learnt, starting from grade 1. Here it is:

4tc 4vc 4vj 4vq 52g 52i 52m 52n 55k 55q 55r 560 58o 596 5bs 5f0 5fe 5i4 5l8 5li 5oc 5od 5op 5rg 5rh 5rj 5rk 5rl 5ro 5rp 5rr 5uk 5un 5uq 61o 624 8pq

Here I put all cards which have something to do with the number 1. I know this is a bad deck, but I am that type of someone who plays CCG just for fun. :sillyspin:

Now, this one has something to do with the number 2, including doubling and halving.

I wonder why which  is 1|1|1 and which is 2|2|2 can have skill while which is 3|3|3 is just a regular vanilla. Heck, even which has the exact same stats also manages to have a skill. This makes me doubting :water as the most balanced element anymore. :'(

Another offender of Blue Crawler:

On a side note, it's fun seeing my beloved Arctic Octopus can fight with the help from Shard of Wisdom. I have wise octopi! It's like I am controlling Chtulhu himself! :sillyspin:

Because there is not any card which have something to do with the number 8, I focused on Shard of Light and Death which have something to do with the multiple of 8 (24 for Light, 48 for Death).

Basically Bolts.
For the Kanji 百 (hundred), I made a Miracle focused deck since our default max HP is 100. Yes I know, Miracle heal to max HP minus 1, but we can simply heal that 1 HP with Sanctuary. Here we go:

OK, didn't know what to do with the Kanji 千 (thousand) so I made a deck based on increasing maximum HP since I kept encountering the jargon 500 EM everywhere, and 500 is a half of thousand.

Now even though it is the turn of 水 (water) Kanji, I don't put my signature deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/water-32/deep-savers/msg1201125/#msg1201125) because it contains ice and drying spell where in this deck I want to focus on water only.

Using :earth element but which actually have something to do with soil rather than metal.
For the Kanji 上 (up), I use cards which have the effect of increasing stats without decreasing the other stats because this Kanji is used in the word 上げる which means "raise".

The Kanji 大 means "big", which in the world of Elements means having a lot of HP (Otyugh's card text says that smaller creatures = less HP). And because the Gravity Shield which basically says that big creatures can't attack only blocks creatures with more than 5 HP, I assume that those are what count as "big" in the world of Elements. So, in this deck I only put creatures which have more than 5 HP.

The Kanji 中 means "middle", so I make a deck which is based on intermediate HP creatures with Gravity Shield as my reference. Being said, in this deck I only put creatures which have more 5 HP. For Phoenix and Fallen Elf, it's because both Ash and Abomination have exactly 5 HP.

Just kidding, this deck isn't ice-themed. It's just that my Kanji Learning Decks (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/deck-compilations/kanji-learning-decks/) has reached the Kanji 白 (haku) which means "white" and coincidentally my Oracle Card was Light Pillar, so I make a full-white deck, using cards from the white element ( :light) but only whose artworks are white.

Ugh... Finally get to abstract concepts, and it was troublesome. The Kanji 学 means "learn", so I put some Shards whose theme are something learnt, like Serendipity, Focus, and Wisdom.

The next Kanji was 校 which means "school", so I put all cards about things usually taught at school.

This one is also hard. Since the Kanji 先 means "ahead", I put cards which give privilege ahead normal circumstances (extra draw, additional cards, and extra attacks).

Since the Kanji 先 means "born", I choose cards with breeding thematic, such as Firefly Queen, Mitosis, and Fate Egg. Pharaoh isn't there because logically, the Scarabs didn't come from the Pharaoh itself, but rather are attracted by his corpse.

Well, I can understand for :life creatures. They are about swarming, so their creatures are supposedly cheaper.

Hello, I appreciate you took the time to post all these theme decks, but as a Deck Helper, it's my job to have the decks section nice and fancy, so I'll have to ask you to compress your decks into fewer posts(1 would be ideal).

No but it doesn't let you post it if it's too long, and tells you it's over 65535 characters
