Well the card art for hydra needs help but i think it could be a good card.

the two extremes of card art will urge people to vote for it.  ironically the excellent, well thought out, tons of effort, extremely detailed and well done card art has just as much power as 2 minute MS paint art.  its everything in the middle that doesnt actively draw in the votes.

To be honest, neither will some of us, but art is in a sense psychological warfare for a card - the better the art is, the more driven the reader will be to look down a few thousand pixels and read the description.

Yeah, that's why I try to find the best art I can for my card ideas, to give them the best chance to be fully read and understood before voting.

Zanz has not been known to keep the art from the card idea thread when he implements a community idea, anyway.  (I think Phoenix might have been an exception.)

that's why I'm still looking for a good art for my pirate/buccaneer. It's a good card (imo) but the art sucks XD

I actually voted for it too moomoose, but compared to the others (who had many more votes), it had to be cut unfortunately. The more cards there are, more cards are considered up for elimination if they don't meet the majority standard...
