Deicide
Original Idea by Kuroaitou |  Art by Kuroaitou

Take screenshots of you defeating false gods upon fulfilling some of the most insane achievements; person with most points from achievements wins the competition.
RULES

We all know you can kill (and most likely farm) False Gods, but are you capable of being of committing 'Deicide'?

  • No sign-ups are required, but it's important that you know how to take a screen shot of your computer screen (look for a 'prt sc' button on your keyboard to hit, then paste it into a program such as paint and save it)
  • Deicide is the act of killing a God (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deicide); in this competition, your objective is to kill as many False Gods after doing some of the most radical things to them before their death. In other words, you get points if you can kill the mentioned False God in a stylized way. The table below shows all of the False Gods and associated 'achievements' that one must fulfill to gain the points. Note that the majority of these achievements are extremely difficult, and will require multiple screenshots by the user to gain credit. By the same token, this competition will be a -very- long one due to the difficulty in completing these tasks.
  • Users who post a False God Achievement first will get more points than those who do it later. The reward scheme for the points goes as follows:

    • First person to post: 100% of all points
    • Second person to post: 50% of all points
    • Third person to post: 20% of all points
    • Everyone else: 0% of all points
  • Note that all points are divisible by '10' to make the scoring easier. Difficulty of points is arranged as follows:
    • Easy - 10
    • Normal - 20
    • Hard - 30
  • To reduce clutter, all of the screen shots must be posted in the False God section here AND WITHOUT MODIFICATION: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,31059.0.html

This means that if you have a new set of pictures to post after your first post in the topic, you have to create a new post in order for it to count (or else receive no points for those pictures as well as the ones that were in the non-modified one).
  • The Competition Organizer (i.e. - Kuroaitou) will provide a list of who has completed what achievement in the List of Achievements spoiler tab by checking the screen shots on a frequent basis.
  • THESE ACHIEVEMENTS MAY BE DONE IN THE TRAINER. If you want to avoid being accused of cheating, you should try to take a screen shot before entering the battle with the starting hand (potentially followed by screen shots that show the chronology of the match and how the match went to get the achievement).
  • You may NOT use the 'Custom AI6 Deck' part of the trainer to fight False Gods, and you CANNOT use the 'More Power' button. You may however obtain as much 'electrum' from the 'More Money' option, as you will most likely have to 'weed through' several false god battles to get the one that you want.
  • You must also post the deck that you used alongside those screen shots in order for it to count.
  • If there's a tie for first, the person who did more achievements wins. If there's still a tie, it will be further broken down to whoever completed more achievements first as well as who had completed more difficult achievements compared to the other(s) that are tied.
  • Once the timer goes off, the Competition Organizer will make a final post and ignore all further posts made on that topic, while counting the points. Whoever wins shall forever be known with a fancy new award icon and a lovely title: "*The True Slayer of Gods" for their efforts.

Chaos Lord – Overwhelming the Odds - Easy
so we have to destroy his shield by draining all his quanta atking, and then kill him in a single blow?

Dark Matter – Event Horizon - Hard
Snova is valid or only unupped nova?

Graviton – Heavy Duty - Normal
only creatures that start with 6 hp or growing creatures count if by the time we defeat him they have hp>6 ?

Chaos Lord: As long as you provide a screenshot of you destroying his shield (and another one or the same one also killing him), you're set.

Dark Matter: Both are okay.

Graviton: NO. You may ONLY play creatures that have 6 HP or more. Growth creatures, creatures that can be 'spawned' from another, and other creatures that are not already at 6 HP or more cannot be used -period-.

How exactly are we supposed to prove that Octane never activated a single Fire card against us?  Take a screenie of every single one of our turns?

I suppose that a little unpractical. I'll reword Octane's to make more sense in a moment.

Ugh.. finding the specific FG in trainer is damn annoying.. >_>

Anyways, need few clarifications:
Seism - do tower and pillar from the same element count as two? e.g. earth tower and earth pillar.[/li] Serket -  banning purify isn't mentioned in the submission thread. So, which one is correct?[/li] Obliterator - similar to Serket, immaterial pulvy isn't mentioned in the submission thread.[/li]

edit:
Oh Octane changed! - can we kill him using UGs?[/li]

[/quote]Seism: No, pillars do not count towards the requirement. It has to be 8 different TOWERS.
Serket: Purify is banned.
Obliterator: Immaterial Pulverizer on his field is required.

Octane: There's a reason why it's called "No Smoking Allowed". ^^; (Don't kill him via Unstable Gas)

Eh this competition was fun at first when I could actually go less than 100 games of quitting before running into a False God, but after quitting more than 400 games and still not finding Akebono, I have to say that I've lost my interest.  I look forward to seeing what decks everyone else is able to come up with.

I was attempting the Seism one, but then he 'Protect Artifact'd his Tower stack. And then I was like,  :o ??? :(

You may want to revise that one.

Yep, I was just thinking about that too. Same goes for Hermes; what if he PA'd the shield and/or weapon?
Btw, the rules for Eternal Phoenix in the submission thread is missing the "6 damage" part.

Also, same as will, I'm beginning to feel demotivated after hundreds of skips trying to find the specific FG. And so far it looks quite impossible to catch up on points. *looks at smuglapse* :P

Actually, no - the reason why I liked Seism's is because it's probably the second most difficult 'Hard' achievement out of the bunch from what I recall. (The worst one being Hermes, for obvious reasons). There are -plenty- of regular games that I faced against Seism where he didn't use PA on a single permanent for the entire game... fdjaskldfjas;dfasfaswhyareyounotinelementschatyellingatmeabouthis

...fine. Revised. You don't need to destroy his towers, but you now need to have 10 different towers on your field before defeating him.

Yep, I was just thinking about that too. Same goes for Hermes; what if he PA'd the shield and/or weapon?

Fixed the Ashes to Ashes part in the submissions thread. Shield no longer has to be destroyed, but the weapon must (there are ways to destroy a permanent that is immaterial by protect artifact).
