This challenge is in no way fair. Mono aether will completely destroy ANY time deck I use, no matter what. Time has absolutely no permanent control.

I shouldn't be punished with regards to my title just because of my element's shortcoming.

Read the title: It's not the batlle of the masters, it is the battle of the Elements. Your fault if you chose to be spokesperson for the wrong one  :P

I can design a deck that would work well.  If you can't, too bad.

Death and darkness on the other hand, have a large problem with holy flash.  Eclipsed black dragons can take a hit, but nothing else.

I'd love to be in this.
Is there a way to challenge masters and take their title?

I have been unable to find the answer in past threads.
Yes, you will be able to challenge a Master at a later date. I'm thinking 2 months might be a good time for one "term". After that, the Master must defend his/her title.

We are going to have a competition where everyone who wants to challenge a Master can participate. From this competion, 12 players are chosen and each of them challenges a Master. In other words a Master only has to defend his title once against one person.

Are you 100% sure about that? ;)

I have to say you probably have the biggest challenge knowing how strong mono-Aether is but it's not like it's impossible to win. You might need to stall, have a bit of luck, and strike at the right time. Keep in mind that Aether immortal creatures are expensive to play.

All I can is good luck :)

Is it mono when I use Novas and light pillars for my deck?
And do you mean with th quanta cost the summoning cost or the ability cost, too?

Lol, compared to the rest of you, I'm a HUGE noob. I think that you'll strike me down with ease, Puppy. Sure I can make a mono-deck; my lack of experience and upgraded cards might be the death of me.

Yes, I am 100% sure that Time has no permanent control. It can rewind, and that's pretty much it. And if the opponent has immortal aether creatures, it can't rewind.

Against a deck with 6 dim shields, it WOULD be impossible to win, save for him not drawing any dim shields until the last 16 cards in the deck. And just because they're expensive to play doesn't matter; I can't rewind them, since they're immortal.

The most damage I could do in one turn is 13*6+2*5+4=92 (unless I used fate eggs). And then there's the issue of stalling to get 6 dragons, 2 anubii, and an eternity. It's possible with precogs and hourglasses, but by then if he's smart he would just chain dim shields even if I had no damage out and then beat me down.

All that said, I do have a deck idea with a shot at winning, but it's pretty dang unorthodox and desperate :P.

Who said anything about destroying. Surely there is another way as well?

Use the Power of Fate, Puppy! Also, my utter lack of upgraded cards (0 so far :) ) is going to help you.
