Doomsday Device™
Oh dear.

The Terrible Task

The creative minds of Evil Incorporated, purveyors of dastardly Doomsday Devices™ since 2009, are in dire need of help! Their employees have been lazing about, resurrecting holy cows and raising the rewards of Bronze Arena for kicks. It's time for some fresh ideas!

Create a Doomsday Device™!
Your Doomsday Device™ may be an Artifact, a Spell, or a Creature card.
Your Doomsday Device™ must conceivably be able to cause massive amounts of DOOM™.
You may use card art in your submission if its source is properly attributed.

FAQ

Q: Why is card art allowed in this competition, but not in other card design competitions?
A: Since the theme of this competition is spreading DOOM™, we've decided to break that particular precedent for this one, because the best DOOM™-making devices are complex and need great visuals for the brutish henchmen of Evil Incorporated to be able to work out what they do! We expect to maintain the previous precedent in the future.

Q: So should I spend my time making amazing artwork for my card?
No! For this competition you're encouraged to use quick-and-simple images from Google, just so that whoever glances at your card can take one look at it and think "Oh, it's a [X]" instead of having to work it out from the title and the mechanics. It also gives you more space in the little card text box to tell us what that card does, instead of wasting it on what it is. Check the cards in the header image for examples.
Make sure you attribute the source of your images!
