Title: Defining Card Role
Post by: Kael Hate on December 16, 2010, 04:20:19 pm
Defining a Cards Role

Stock - This card has no offensive or game winning value it is merely a card that is the basic resource for the genre of the deck. An example would be Pillars and Pendulums.

Staple - This card goes in any deck of the genre regardless of its part in the game winning plan. You add this card first then reasons to remove it.

Key - This card performs a game winning taks or combo's with another key(s) to do so. It ususally has a powerful effect but requires another condition to be met for it to be so.

Support - This card is added to a deck to fill in the gaps where it is weak or to accentuate the effect of keys. They do not work in every deck like staples do.

Meta - The only function of this card is to counteract another card or genre. Unless opposed by that card or genre the meta card is useless.
