Hi. I checked a bit for this information but i couldn't find the answer.
Are marks limited to six in a deck like most other cards or unlimited like pillars?
-
Yes, they are limited to 6. I have seen it somewhere, but it was in an obscure place. I'll give ya the link if I staumble across it.
-
This has come up many times and noone has actual proof either way.
All we have is Zanz's word on the matter and though he should know what he's talking about, there's always the possibility that he's messed up the coding and it hasn't been put right because noone has found the error.

Thank you both for your replies.

Actually, there is proof.
Someone (I think plastiqe?) tried to put 7 marks in a deck, but there could only be 6.
-
That was also mentioned before and I'm pretty sure the supposed owner of the seven stopped by to let people know that they never actually did get seven as Zanz's claim that they were limited was made shortly before they got their sixth.
Unless, of course, the test has been done since then.
Whether they really are limited or not, Zanz has made it pretty clear that they are meant to be so if you are caught with seven or more in your deck, you will be in trouble.
-
Why would they be in trouble? Zanz makes the very win codes that grant people Mark cards these days. Even before, before Relics, they could still be won from the slots from those who had them I think.
-
I'm not saying they would be in trouble for using mark cards, I'm saying they would be in trouble for using 7+ if they could as it has been specifically stated that the game should not work that way.

Yeah, just six, just like normal cards. And just like these, upgrading some won't suddenly allow for 7.
-
So upgrading a card and changing the name/cost/ability won't let you run 7? Like 4 Photons and 4 Ray of Light?

Upgraded cards are still counted as the same cards. Still a cap of 6.
