Fun card. Sadly, it may be a little before its time since it needs more permanent targeting effects. Perhaps that would make a nice theme for a series?

V2 Marker

Revamped the card so that it more fully fills in a new niche.
Unfortunately, I also complicated the card in the process.
In addition, I might have made it situationally overpowered (in the context of immaterial shields/weapons).
