I believe this is what Sky refers to as "Acid Trip Syndrome"
The upgraded is disproportionately better than the unupgraded.
You gave it two buffs and didn't raise the cost, making the upgraded version OP and unupgraded version average.

Out of element cast cost is more than enough compensation, arguably the unupped is better since the upped is only better for health (that gives rage synergy), freeze stopping stuff like RoLs light active, & shockwave combo

That's hardly a buff.
It's a change.

...Half (6/7ths) of me wants to just outright make the upped's element water, not time.
Solves basically every problem I have with the upped.

When it undelay/thaws it, does it remove all the turns of being frozen/delayed or just 1?
And why exactly did you make the upped use freeze?

I made the upped use freeze to make it distinct from the unupped.
I try to evade strict upgrades.

I think you should maybe consider the upped version to cost more quanta. Since it is pretty tanky as it is, but it cost the same.
4 :time 1/6, imo that would be more balanced than this.. or evened out so to say.

As a concept I really like it, it provides something different to the game, it's not broken. Could be interesting with somethings. But I'll leave the imagination to the other guys as well.

I would much rather use the unupped with wardens than the upped.

You can buff your own wardens with it, so that they damage the opponents creatures.
You can use the debuffs more consistently (guard with the warden and then use the leech) and fills a whole in warden decks (killing airborne creatures).

I'd use the upped with squids and SoPa, ignoring the buffs and focusing more on debuffing the opponent.

Cool idea overall.
