NAME:
Temporal Bifurcation
ELEMENT:
Time
COST:
12 :time
TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:

TEXT:
Each weapon and creature is copied to opposing deck and rewound. Its cost is added to both pools. End your turn.
NAME:
Fractured Future
ELEMENT:
Time
COST:
8 :time
TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:

TEXT:
Each weapon and creature is shuffled into a random deck and its cost is added to that player's pool. End your turn.

ART:
OdinVanguard, created using Hexagon and GIMP
IDEA:
OdinVanguard
NOTES:
"Take your time today"

"History is only fixed for those who must traverse it linearly"

A twist on the number of "armageddon" like cards I've seen in the past. In this case, no creatures are harmed, just sent away ;)

The thematic idea came from various ideas about what would happen in a temporal paradox (such as the grandfather paradox). I.e. such paradoxes could create a bifurcation in time or shatter it altogether.

The unugraded version is a twist on mass rewind. Instead of just going back to the top of the owner's deck, a copy is also placed on top of the opponent's deck as well.
To prevent over-favoring of rainbow decks, their cost is also given to both players.

The upgraded version is more affordable but also more volatile, sending the creatures to either player at random and placing them randomly within that player's deck.

After this card is played, the caster's turn ends immediately. They still get their attack phase etc, but will not be able to play any creatures (this may be important if the caster had skeletons or mummies when the unupgraded version is used)
This was added to help mitigate potentially OP combos with QC.
Thanks to fabian771 for pointing out the potential problem and killsdazombies for suggesting the work around.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

Rushes are going down.

However, there's something I don't like about this.
This card becomes OP with, say, Devourers(Keep 'em in hand, play this, then Devs) or Discord(holy hell no), etc.

I'd hate a creatureless with this, too.

Needs some balancing IMO, but I don't see how well that could be possible as it is now.

Devs might be a problem if the creatures in play are relatively low cost, but it would take a lot of them to fully lock down an enemy that had a few high cost creatures.
Disco is the real trouble maker I think.
I'm not quite as worried about creatureless based decks with this since your opponent has control over which creatures they play and when.

I'll have to think about the disco combo a bit. That is definitely a possible OP issue...

Maybe have it end your turn/rewind your weapon as well?

-I actually kinda like the creatureless deck based around this now that I think about it. This could help make creatureless decks much more viable, so this might be a good thing... the QC combos did have to go though. Thanks for bringing them up :)

Okay, updated card to end player's turn immediately and also affect weapons.

Any other balancing issues I missed?
