i got this idea from readign the mightly wings thread.

Card: Steroids
Type: Spell
Cost: 3 Entrophy
Effect: Target creature's attack doubles for one turn, and the creature gains one infection counter.

Upgraded version:
Card: Prescription Steroids
Type: Spell
Cost: 5 Entrophy
Effect: Target creature's attack doubles permanently, and the creature gains five infection counters.

They don't really fit the flavor of the game, but you could use some funny pictures with them!

Lol, steroids. :)

My only problem with this idea is that it strenghtens the negative image of steroids. They are actually not as bad as you'd think.

A very large portion of professional athletes use different kinds of steroids (they just won't admit it) and never get any major side effects, let alone die from them. Steroids are also widely used in medicine because they help you heal faster. These deaths and other serious side effects occur when people use TOO MUCH steroids.

Check out this documentary for further information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1151309/

But yeah.. this was off-topic..

Steroids can be helpful for many medical conditions sure. But they are an unfair way for many athletes to get ahead.

I like the card idea, but it seems like the upgraded card is very awful compared to the non-upgrade.

Yeah, well that's a completely different issue. I was only talking about this card, and how it poisons the creature you use it on, basically saying that if you use steroids, you will sooner or later die.

With a different name, this card would actually be very interesting, and would fit better to the theme of this game.

Fatal Mutation.

Rapid Growth.

I can't think of anymore, lol, but those are just a couple ideas. I think that instead of getting five poison counters from the upgraded version, the creature should get three.

I wouldn't consider it dying. I'd think of it more like slinking away from the battlefield when their "manhood" shrivels to the size of a peanut  :o ;D ::)
