Canonical quartet capstone card.

I have a soft spot in my heart for weapon based decks. The material quartet is the perfect element to sponsor thematically since so many of its component elements deal with permanent manipulation.

The mechanic absorbs quanta in the same way that material pillars produce quanta (see the ones in cygnia for reference).
E.g. 1 quantum will be absorbed from either :air :earth :fire or :water
The weapon for that element will be added to your hand
(At the moment those are Owl's Eye, Pulverizer, Farenheit, and Trident)
If more rare weapons get added the weapon from that element will be chosen at random.

In the event that the player does not have any quanta in :air :earth :fire or :water left, a random non-rare weapon will be added to their hand instead.

Finally, if you have a weapon equipped at the time you cast Promethian Arsenal, it will have a buff placed upon it which will cause it to become a flying weapon when it is replaced (only replacement will trigger this, not destruction).

In the case of the upgraded card, this allows you to continuously spawn new weapons each turn. However, if you stop you will need to use a flying weapon card to start the forge back up again.

After this 2 of the absorbed quanta will be picked at random and the (a) weapon of that element will be added to your hand.

Thanks! Once again, a product of Hexagon and, especially, Bryce7. It makes creating that kind of art a true joy. I really wish they would release a version i could use on the mac OS... I have to boot into windows to use it now :(

Very interesting idea, I had to read the notes to properly understand it though. Sweet art as usual.

Notes say Promethian Arsenal is a spell while the card art is a permanent. If it's a permanent when and how often would it trigger?

Also seems like quite a dangerous way to spam Farenheits without flying weapon? Six of these + Six pillars definitely beats six Farenheit + six Animate.

The farenheit combo was in mind when I made the card actually.
It ends up costing slightly more quanta but allows the player more deckspace to add in support cards.
As far as I have seen animated farenheits is not exactly an OP combo.
The trouble I've always seen is that the farenheits are sufficiently fragile that they end up getting shredded when flown.
Plus it is costing 2 cards for every flown farenheit.
So maybe this card will help make that strategy more competitive.

Granted, it could be very powerful to have an effective farenheit + animate in a card, but you are now also paying over double the cost of the farenheit to get it into play.
Most weapons are balanced around being worth roughly 2/3 to 1/2 the effective cost of an equivalent creature version.
So this card should actually end up being balanced.



So the combo is 3 :fire + 1 :fire absorb + 3 :fire for 1 fahrenheit. I.e. you are now paying 7 :fire per farenheit instead of 3 :fire + 1 :rainbow and 2 cards.
A card is typically weighted as worth 2 to 3 :underworld so this should be balanced.
