Since you bring up nobody being interested, I'll mention that this card (which I've offered no comment on, sorry about that) interested me enough to implement in openEtG, in case you want to experiment with it

Personally, I feel upkeep stops bows well enough that the unupped is better than the upped. Upped could be made better by giving it some kind of Obsession passive

That's actually a good idea. If you cannot pay the upkeep, destroy the (upped) card and inflict 12 damage. However, wouldn't it be a bit clogged? I mean, there's already quite a lot of text.

I've een messing around with this card in serprex's openEtG and it works quite well. However, as he noticed, the upped is just a tad underpowered. Gameplay is fantastic though, and the unupped is perfectly balanced. The first game I played, I played five of these cards and realised that I was getting less and less  :death quanta (only 6 pillars) and my opponent (whose deck was a duo including  :death) played the Ouija cards too.
The idea of obsession for the upped card looks great; however, I have two doubts:

(card description). It does not fit.
-- OP agains mono-decks?? I mean, playing these obsessed Ouija Powers agains a mono-Life or mono-Aether or mono-Whatever would be devastating!, bearing in mind that you don't add the cards once, but EVERY TIME THAT A CREATURE DIES, PER EACH OUIJA POWER YOU CONTROL. So if you have two Ouija Powers and two creatures die, that's 4 spaces in your opponent's hand that you've already disabled, damaging him if he discards them.

OK MuxDen has pointed out two difficulties:
  • Adding text to the card to add obsession would clog even more the card's text.
  • Infinite nightmare of Ouija Power if it has obsession is devastating against Monos.

have essence cost 4 :death, and power cost 1 :death, but both generate an essence (instead of power generating power).

Now this is a really good balancing idea. I second this and will change it in the meantime. However, instead of 4 :death , I'll change it to 2  :death , otherwise it will be way too difficult to get them out of the hand. Good idea!

EDIT: Added a small tongue-in-cheek that, while improving gameplay, it adds a chance of backfiring yourself if used inappropriately, meaning that if you start with an unupped card, you WON'T get an upped card as a backfire, but another unupped one. This makes it fair and balances it, meaning that this card will only have a bit of an advantage against  :death decks if upped. Balanced card. I would pay 1500 electrum to upgrade it, since it considerably improves, while the unupped card is also useful.

Wow. The new version of this card is SO mindblowing while, at the same time, inspiring. Your opponent may gain advantage if he can play the upped card that you've passsed on to him, but if you play the upped card, he'll have no other option but to play the unupped one. This will give you more upped ones that defeat his initial purpose and force him to discard the unupped ones. You'll have no  :death by then, but your opponent will be in a worse situation. Final blow and you've won. But if you haven't been careful, you might end up even worse than the other player.
You need to know how to play with this card in order to use it wisely. The AI might be entertaining to code.

Read the new card text: the unupped and the upped are connected in an unusual way.
