The term "enemy" refers to both enemy creatures and the enemy player. I.E. this card can poison your opponent as well as enemy creatures.

Not extremely dangerous in small numbers early on, due to the relatively slow buildup, but with many copies in play, could lead to massive poison output.

As with other marked card mechanic based cards, unmarked cards are prioritized over marked cards.

This card will likely take a bit of time to build than most poison based cards, but in longer games should be able to overwhelm almost any stall.

Would have no effect since spells are not in the field.

E.G. only permanents and creatures are relevant to this card.

In that case, maybe make it only mark relevant cards? Otherwise its skill could just be wasted

Updated. The activated ability now marks only creatures instead of any card.
Note that the poison effect will also count marked permanents as well, but you will need another card to mark those. This should help promote synergy with other cards in the series.
It will also allow creatureless decks to work as counters to this card (particularly if they are able to CC enemy marked creatures as well).

... I suppose that makes this change both a buff and a slight nerf at the same time...
