and to scaredgirl, i believe the reason would be that wings make you more fragile, unless they are scaly or something of the like, and i think the card is great, but i think it could go in the life area, by changing the name to "uproot" or something, as a tree would get stronger when it uproots (i'm talking an ent), but there is no such card involving trees which i find a little odd, except for finale's suggestion and scared's "tree of life hero card" .
Problem with that theory is that this card can KILL you if you have 1 or 2 HP. So you see it doesn't just make you more fragile, it also does damage to you.

i understand your point, that mutants will be mutants, but its really not logical for a massive dragon to hatch is it?
Yes, mutants will be mutants. This massive dragon can actually be a combination of 50% and 50% Fate Egg. Maybe there is another creature growing inside the dragon and when that creature comes out, it will kill the dragon.

Like in the movie Alien

lol

funny pic, but somehow i don't imagine that happening when a dragon hatches, i see more of it turning into light and changing shape

But back on topic, maybe the weak creatures can't handle the wings? I'm really not sure about that, but lightning can kill you, poison can kill you, why can't wings kill you?
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Daedalus fashioned two pairs of wings out of wax and feathers for himself and his son. Before they took off from the island, Daedalus warned his son not to fly too close to the sun, nor too close to the sea. Overcome by the giddiness that flying lent him, Icarus soared through the sky curiously, but in the process he came too close to the sun, which melted the wax. Icarus kept flapping his wings but soon realized that he had no feathers left and that he was only flapping his bare arms. And so, Icarus fell into the sea in the area which bears his name, the Icarian Sea near Icaria, an island southwest of Samos.

It happened to Daedalus in ancient greek mythology, I'm assuming it could work like that here.

Yeah, even a spoon can kill you if you ram it in your nose and into your brain. But most people wouldn't assume that a card called "Spoon" will kill a character.

But most people will understand that wings can lower your defense.

What you don't seem to understand Oaky, is that this "Mighty Wings" card will KILL a creature with 1 or 2 HP. It doesn't just lower defence, it KILLS.

Think about this. Opponent has upgraded 15/2 Fire Dragon on the table. You give that Dragon "Mighty Wings" (he already has wings), and he dies. You think maybe, there is something wrong with that picture?

Sure, Why would a dragon have two sets of wings?

What he said

And no, it wasn't a serious question, it's significantly harder to use sarcasm over the web (unless it involves mics)

So yeah, they prob couldn't support the wings, and perhaps this could even be used to kill lava golems or something weak that still poses a threat or will later. of course it would be more beneficial to use it on your own creature so long as it lives (normally)

I like the effect, just not the card name/concept. Maybe something like Ferocity, Adrenaline, Berzerk, or Feral Rage? In a fit of rage, the creature's strength increases at the cost of its defensive capabilities.
