Should probably be elemental, most likely fire (with a different name and pic) or air.

I think that this would work better as an Air Element card, since the ability would work wonders with Dive.

Aye, it WOULD work wonders with dive, tho I suspect there's a reason that Blessing, Momentum, Chaos Power et alia are kept separate from the air element - they do make dive powerful, and they WOULD make air extremely overpowered.  +5/-2 doesn't strike me as fire either, the creatures being slightly weak - maybe darkness? It has the kind of sacrifice/reward tactical thing going on, and would go nicely as the dark answer to blessing (drawback to darkness is the same as the drawback to it being fire: darkness creatures = low health).  It could also be used aggressively in a pinch, which I quite like... :D.

Probably NOT a non-elemental card as has been pointed out - would not be good for the perceived imbalance towards rainbow in the game.

Yeah, an effect like that should definitely be kept out of the generic pile. Anything in the generic pile should cost more, as Quantum Towers produce three quanta when they come into play. That's not to say that you have to play with QTs if you run generic cards, but it would make it quite easy to play such a card as this much sooner.

I have a simple solution for this.  Make the card +5/-3.  This would kill any wurms or pegasus trying to use the bonus, and would kill minor vamps also.  True the person could buff the creature's defense, but thats three cards for one effect.

I like the fact that you get a bonus in attack but lose HP... but like many times before, I don't think the THEME is working that well.

Why do you lose HP if you get wings? Hm.. well, maybe it could be that those Wings grow on you, ripping flesh etc..

Yeah, I suppose it could work if you changed that picture to something where wings are growing and blood is flying.

EDIT: Lol 500 posts and a "Hero" member. Too bad Oaky already invented that name. :)

Congrats on the hero thing, and i love the card, but to kumelar, upped pegasus has 3/4 so upped wings would have to do +6/-4

and to scaredgirl, i believe the reason would be that wings make you more fragile, unless they are scaly or something of the like, and i think the card is great, but i think it could go in the life area, by changing the name to "uproot" or something, as a tree would get stronger when it uproots (i'm talking an ent), but there is no such card involving trees which i find a little odd, except for finale's suggestion and scared's "tree of life hero card" .

I agree that most things should make sense, but its not like a fate egg should be ale to dive either.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

The way I see it is that mutants can be or do anything, so they don't have to make sense like other creatures or cards. That Fate egg might have wings or something.

i understand your point, that mutants will be mutants, but its really not logical for a massive dragon to hatch is it?

The cost is way, way too high. +7/-2 or +8/-2 for that price.
