NOTES:
"summon" means play from hand, "generate" means to make it appear on your side of the field through any other way.
The effect is activated at the beginning of your turn after you draw your card.
If the creature has been removed, is frozen, or is delayed during the period of time when the effect would be activated, then the effect is negated.

:life creature alive means the number of creature slots (both sides of the field considered) that contain a Life card.
Extra lives work like this: The default amount of lives for a creature is 1, and each death decreases this variable by 1. When the variable reaches 0, the standard death effect happens. However, if the creature dies but the variable does not reach zero, then the creature is reborn (transformed, which includes status effects such as infection and adrenaline, much like ash to phoenix) into the original out-of-card creature. A death effect is still generated.
The effect that is activated by Life Animus is that each creature (including Life Animus)'s variable is increased by 1+N, N being the number of :life creatures alive.
