Relatively low key status manipulator for air.

To keep somewhat distinct from web, its airborne status effect only lasts one turn, but can both ground flying creatures and levitate non-flying creatures.
The stat bonus for allied creatures should help give a little more utility to the ability to keep it from being overly situational. Like the airborne status interaction, the bonus only lasts 1 turn.

The synergy with the stat bonus and skyblitz / dive / SoFr is intentional (to help make this card worthwhile)

The unupgraded version should be fairly tame. The upgraded version can potentially allow 'OTK' combos with dive+blitz. However, since that would require 5+ copies of this card in play to allow a wyrm to OTK with its dive + blitz, this should be hard enough to pull off to minimize abuse (e.g. it takes 7 cards in total with 5 out of those 7 being the same card plus a total investment of 25 quanta)

Aside from dive / blitz / SoFr, this effect could also make duo warden decks possible and will also help boost the utility of the 'Wings' shield card, while at the same time allowing air duos to have a soft counter.

This was done in openEtG (where we hand a spell that could give wardens flying) and didn't seem to disrupt the balance too much.
This was partly done because the spell was too UP initially...
Given that this card is a permanent instead of a spell and can be used to both give and remove flying, its less of a sticking point here.
It certainly makes thematic sense to me though.

To be fair, an "airborne mutant with the guard skill" wouldn't show up very often in regular play, so maybe zanz didn't consider that possibility when he programmed the guard skill. In the unlikely event that;
1. zanzarino returns,
2. he wants to make a new update, and
3. something similar to this card is going to be added...
then the discussion as to weather flying wardens can hit flying creatures may become a bit less trivial.

For now, your guess is as good as any.
