Are you serious? We should knowingly add an underpowered card because we "like it"?
Actually, yes. o-o Adding some underpowered cards would not only provide some more variety in ways similar to other TCGs that have useless cards (Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh are famous for this). Just look at Spark/Ball Lightning.
MTG has underpowered cards so that it can sell more cards because usable cards are more rare.  Elements isn't selling cards.  I think we can do away with this asanine practice.  An underpowered card is fine. Knowingly adding underpowered cards is not.

Hadn't thought of it that way. You're right.

Exactly. People like to compare Elements to MtG, but forget that MtG is all about making money (like they should be) and make design decisions based on that.

Well, can we figure out how to not make these suggestions underpowered. I seriously think a creature with an unfreeze ability would be useful, i've lost because of being frozen.

P.S. I didn't look at this forum for a bit although it was under my 'show replys to your' posts,' thing, because it didn't look interesting. Then I realized who started the forum. Opps...

Personally, I think that if Purify can exist and be seen in some t50 decks, a simple 1Fire spell called Thaw that removed the frozen condition from all creatures on your side of the field is perfectly comprehensible.  I also firmly believe that a spell that removed the 'infected' status from all of your creatures (should be Light) is a good idea, and also a spell that healed all of your creatures by 5 HP (should be Life).

That said, I can also see how Purify affects the player, and the other spells would all affect creatures, which at the moment are pretty much up s*** creek when hit by pretty much any status effect.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
