Issues with the mechanic:

The way I perceive it, this will require player feedback on the opponent's turn.  Currently, that is not allowed in the game, especially for PvP due the amount of desync errors this is asking for.

If the sacrifice is picked randomly, it could work out. There isn't room to fit that on the card, but it would become obvious very quickly I think.

I think randomly sacrificing would be more detrimental that subversive of the effect.  And could possibly be abused by certain elements [Antimatter it to heal and attempt to kill it if there are other things out], although this is slightly subverted by the evasion.
