Title: Community Card - One more try!

That's right, others have failed and gotten nowhere.

But I have put together a timeline that I use for my best card ideas- and I'm going to put it to the test.

The goal is simple. We get together as a community to craft a card. This has been attempted before, but I feel that the order has never been done quite right.

Let's begin!

Stage 1 - Concept
Part 1 - Brainstorm
Time is Up!


The first stage is to think of a CONCEPT.
This is a raw mechanic that the card will be built around.

Examples of random concepts are Voodoo, Growth, Immaterial, etc.

State your concept and provide a brief description of it.
Feel free to post as many as you can think of, the more we receive the better!

After this we partake in a vote to decide which is the best.

Redraw your hand. Right now, if you draw a hand full of pillars in a competitive game, you're pretty screwed. There needs to be some measure to allow for a player to come back from a bad hand. In MTG, low cost cards and stall cards help to buy some time for you until you get something that you can win with.

More blocking cards like the armagio should help too. Small blockers for the slow-start elements like aether should help mitigate bad draw pain.

I totally agree that there should be cards that allow to redraw. Maybe an permanent that allows to put a card from your hand in your deck and allows you to draw after that.

I'm not sure about the blocking cards. In my opinion shields should remain the main damage absorb source. This is what makes ETG interesting. But this is just my opinion. =)
