I've seen this rise a bunch of times, but it's usually fallen apart due to lack of attention, support, or poor design.

So I present to you Community Card Design, where the ETG forums come together and make a card.

Afterthoughts:  Requesting Art and Refining Balance
Yeah, this card has come a long way, but it still has a few things to run through.


As the title implies, we're going through one more reviewing of balance of our technically complete card for roughly a week : Time's up.

State any concerns you have about the card, e.g. regarding how it works with other cards, if you feel it's need a change to it's current state or could be improved, etc...

If any artist is willing to do the card's art, I'd greatly appreciate it. (Note that Art is not limited to the timer.)

Our mechanic for this Community Card will be : No summoning sickness. (Swift)

Our card type will be a Creature.
The creature will have Swift as an ability. (passive)
Swift is defined as Remove the summoning sickness condition. (Allows ability to be used when played.)

Swift will be combined with a buff effect.
The buff will be giving a beneficial active/passive ability to another creature.
Said ability will be Bounce : A passive skill that makes the creature return in hand when dead.

Swift creature's element is Air.
    Swift in this case should be paired with an ability. What element do you think fits best?What ability do you think fits best? (And why does it fit with element X?) What mechanics pair well with Swift?

People seem to generally favor  :air for Swift.

1. Concept - a card effect/concept/strategy is selected from everyone's suggestions.
2. Vehicle/Delivery - The effect is discussed on whether it will be a creature, spell, or permanent. Effect is refined and secondary effects are also discussed.
3. Theme - the card's theme is determined,  e.g. if the card should be a giant lizard or a entity of quantum energy.
4. Element - The card's element is determined.
5. Name and Art - Card's name and art is determined.

Smite- deals damage to target creature, if killed turns into a Photon. Works on photons, too.

Suicidal : Target creature dies. This creature dies.
Traitor : switches sides (probably an active ability)
Bloodthirsty : attacks creatures. When a creature dies, gains +1|-1.
Pure : Stats are dependant on number of vanilla creatures.
Unstable : chance to die each turn.
Symbiotic : gains +1|+1 for each creature on board of <insert element> (can be multiple elements).

1. Healing by Death : When this creature dies / when target creature dies / while this is out and creatures die, ATK and DEF are averaged (rounded up) and used to heal the creature's owner.

2. Element specific effects (Eclipse, Inundation, Holy Flash...)

Could be sort of like an overdrive effect, except gains +1/+1 instead of +3/-1.

As for a new idea, maybe it distributes its damage among your opponents creatures before it attacks your opponents life? Or automatically does 1 damage to all of an opponents creatures when it attacks?
