Basically, this creatures grows stronger anytime a permanent (on either side) is destroyed or discarded. It gains a bigger bonus when the permanent is on the same side.

Counter based permanents (like bonewall) will not trigger this effect, but stacked permanents (pillars and pendulums) will.

This ability may trigger any number of times per turn.

It is lobotomizable and will be replaced if the creature is targeted by overdrive, liquid shadow, etc.

sounds like a good combo you could do with momentum, overdrive and this card after a few turns/pc on your own cards/played

Ya, I just fixed that. I was working off an old idea and updated the upped version but forgot to do the status for the unupped version.

Except every Momentum or Overdrive is one less permanent to draw.

Still, the fact that 24 pillars and this seems like a decent deck is worrying, consider limiting it to non-pillar perms or non-free perms so it doesn't trigger from the user's quanta base.

Hmmm... I actually intended it to work only with pillars / pendulums... It had a lower cost and stats.
I thought that would be too limited so I extended it to include all permanents.
The pendulums are particularly relevant as the make a thematic link (e.g. using the gears springs, etc. from the pendulum to enhance the bot)

If the drawn / played part is making it too strong, the attack power buff can be removed (so it only buffs HPs).

Alternately, I can remove the "played" part of the trigger so that it only triggers off of draws.

I doubt it will be OP to keep it on the discard / destroy trigger since that takes more work to function.

Discard and destroyed sounds fine, but with drawn and played I also believe it'd be too much

Because apparently I'm a dork and misslabled it when I downloaded it *slaps forhead* :(
I'll fix it in a bit.

Might as well rework it a bit in the process...

Updated. Fixed the quanta symbol and changed the mechanic a bit.

Since having it trigger from play / draw events is a bit too much, I limited it to only destruction / discard events.
To keep it from getting too weak though, I extended the mechanic to also trigger when an enemy permanent is discarded or destroyed and give a better buff when one of its owner's permanents is discarded or destroyed.

Should synergy nicely with salvagers I think.

We have those coded now?! That would make life a lot easier...

Are they up on the hybrids page somewhere? It would be nice to have them listed.

Cooooool

Strange, I was just thinking of a card like this. I was thinking "Fire Salvager" just because it sounded cool, but I realized in that element the ability would be pretty crappy. Earth/Gravity are perfect for this. Would Earthquake trigger up to 3 times? Or just once as with Salvagers?
