The stat bonus for immaterial creatures is permanent… Hopefully the low and the weapon slot limitation should keep it relatively balanced. "Psionic" is a term / status from openEtG which basically means that the creature / weapon deals spell damage. Hopefully it should be fairly obvious given the ability of the card "Psion" The choice of was partly made with the intention of allowing mirror shield and flown morning glory combos. SERIES:

Otherwise, I would prefer the psionic on the immaterial/buff on all for the sake of consistency with SoW, but... That wouldn't be a wet dream. Would also demand a cost increase.

Nothing... unless it is immaterial at the time. In which case it gets  +1|+0.
Also, note that although it is akin to momentum on a stick, it is not permanent, the psionic buff only lasts 1 turn...
You can, of course, continue to reapply every turn, but effectively, one sword = 1 momentum with upkeep.

Also, as you mention earlier, mirror shields can make things interesting. E.g. if you have a mirror shield up, this ability can then deflect an enemy creature's attack back at its owner, which is a major motivation for creating this weapon.

Very likely, I tend to lowball power and work my way up...
Would it help if it applied the bonus to any creature it targets and does something else for immaterial targets (maybe a bigger bonus or something)?

It then gains 1/2 ablaze on a stick for normal targets and full ablaze on a stick for immaterial targets.

Personally, I think, in terms of power, it's amazingly powerful in SoW reflect decks (Allowing us to have over 6 copies of what is essentially antimatter, without the need of quintessence), but quite weak in anything else.

Yeah, swapping the psionic and ATK buffs would probably be the way to go to buff it.

Okay, updated OP.

The skill now gives +1|+0 to material targets and +2|+0 to immaterial targets.
Damage on upped sword bumped to 4 points to make upgrading a bit more worthwhile.

Situational card, I don't see much play to this card.
-Rainbow wouldn't pick it over any other weapon
-Mono aether wouldn't pick this over lobo unless it runs light mark and afraid of shields.
- Light/Aether consisting crusaders and this weapon... uh, MAYBE?
