Round 4: Recursion | Eternal Recursion https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=37228.msg467196#msg467196

NAME:
Eternal Recursion
ELEMENT:
Time
COST:
4 :time
TYPE:
Permanent
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
When you play a card this turn, a copy is generated in your hand. It costs one more than its previous copy.
ART:
Royalty-Free
IDEA:
Xenocidius
NOTES:
Take your time today.
It may seem like you are doing the same thing over and over. Have patience and good things will come of it.

This card provides an intricate way of chaining cards, and allows for the six-card limit to be broken in the case of the upped version, as long as one has enough quanta to support the copies. The unupped version will not draw a card if there are no available copies in your deck.

A turn counter appears on the card, the same as Sundial.
SERIES:

NAME:

ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Upgrade the target creature or grant +4/+4 if already upgraded. It gains momentum.
ART:
Royalty-Free
IDEA:
Xenocidius
NOTES:
This is an interesting buff card in that it allows one to upgrade a creature during a game, and affects upgraded cards differently to non-upgraded cards. It also gives Life a much-needed way to get around shields and protect its creatures.
SERIES:

NAME:
Baby Orca
ELEMENT:
Water
COST:
4 :water
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
5 | 2
TEXT:
:gravity : Smash
Weaken the target permanent. If it is smashed again, it is destroyed.
NAME:
Killer Whale
ELEMENT:
Water
COST:
7 :water
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
9 | 6
TEXT:
:gravity :gravity : Destroy
Destroy the target permanent.
ART:
Royalty-Free
IDEA:
Xenocidius
NOTES:
This does two things: it gives Water a powerful attacker alongside Toadfish, something which I feel it dearly needs; and it gives Water permanent control.

In keeping with Water's synergistic theme, this forms a direct synergy with an element that Water does not yet have one with: Gravity.

Weakened permanents can still function.
SERIES:

NAME:
Wormhole
ELEMENT:
Entropy
COST:
3 :entropy
TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Every creature on the field is warped to a different position and may be mutated.
NAME:

ELEMENT:
Entropy
COST:
3 :entropy
TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Every creature on the field is warped to a different position and may be mutated into a superior mutant.
ART:
Royalty-Free
IDEA:
Xenocidius
NOTES:
Creatures have a 100/HP% chance of being mutated. They always warp to a position on their owner's side of the field.

This can be used as mass creature control, mass creature buffing with things like Fractal Photons, and synergizes with Flooding and Shard of Patience.

Friendly reminder:
The COST of either card must be half or double the other (4 :death -> 2 :death, or 3 :light -> 6 :light). Round up for odd numbers (i.e. – 5 :time -> 3 :time, or 4 :aether -> 7 :aether).

Looks good. Does the perma have to be smashed twice in the same turn or not? If yes, this is slightly UP. If not, what does "damaged" do to perma (aside from making it destroyed next smash)?

Round 3 card added. Those were some tough requirements (and art) to cater to, but I think I did a decent job regardless.

Blessing unupped costs 3 :light but seems less useful than your card. Perhaps a minor cost increase ?

My reasoning is that on unupped creatures, this will often be worse, as the bonus many of Blessing's best targets (Dune Scorpion, Deathstalker, Pegasus) gain when upgraded is worse or useless compared to that granted by Blessing. That said, it is more useful than Blessing when used on upgraded creatures. Maybe a bonus decrease of -1/-1 would be in order.

I like the mechanic, but the Evolving theme doesn't fit the whole ability. The second part sounds more like 'Progression' than evolving, because it's only a stat change and not a fundamental change.
