Ok, incoming really long list of things:
-The staff is really cool looking, but I think that the way you have the top of the staff right now (kinda widening like an inverted arrowhead) is a little awkward. Maybe have it plateau into a small platform, or something more dramatic. Just a suggestion.
-Around the areas where the sky part of the background meets the foreground, it get's lighter and IMO it looks a little weird. It kinda makes the dark night sky lose it's dramatic atmosphere, but I like how it works with the sandstorm. Awesome color scheme.
-For the floating gear part of the staff, when you add more detail, I suggest adding some rusty-looking effects to it. :)

i agree with him for most part of this on my knight. i would suggest maybe changing armor color just a bit so he doesnt look like hes blending in with sand. i know time is yellow for most part and sand etc. but little distinction.. maybe some red? as detail lining in the armor or something. maybe make the staff brown instead of yellow? or brown with yellow engravings?

ok lets answer:
-i will change top of the staff to moer platform like
- sky maybe looks wierd but it stands him out more so it stays
- floating gear will be to small on the card to put any serious detail on him so it stays like this
- color of his armour hmm, also i dunno what kind of detail should i put to be visible once he is card sized.. i can remove sandstorm?
-color of the staff? ok no prob, ill just see what fits..
