Free Art for Card Ideas
You are free to use any of the art below in any of your card ideas. Everything is divided into two groups: Free Art and User Art. Give credit to the artist unless instructed otherwise. Also include a link to this topic so that others will find it too.

If you cannot find suitable art for your card idea, you can request art here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12664.0.html).

If you want to contribute by adding art, please post it on this topic and we'll add it to the list. Just make sure it is produced by you or it is royalty-free. Art size should be 256x256 pixels. Thanks.

If you wish to use other art sources: While the internet is a place full of resources to spur your creativity, copyright laws also abound the place left and right and to stay on the safe side of the law, we'd appreciate it if you asked permission from the artist(s) of more ambiguous art sources.

Please note that we will start checking for if an art source was properly credited once a card is submitted to Crucible. While cards don't require art until Armory and you're free to use what you want in the Smithy and other sections (such as Humor), once the card has a chance of being used for something besides casual design, we'll have to check that it's fairly using art to avoid any potential legal problems.

That thread merely provides links to places where you can find free images; this is an actual gallery of images made by our community; a card art 'database', if you will.

Everyone should be credited by default unless they say otherwise. For example in my case I'm not asking for credit because my "art" that I have posted here is done mostly filters and other Photoshop tools, and asking credit for that would feel wrong. But when a person does the art from scratch, I see no reason not to give credit for that person.
