Resources being deducted on cancellation of the spell. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=20349.msg258242#msg258242

I am very sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it.

But i was thinking of casting destroy with my Pulverizor. But then I decided against it. But after cancellation I lost my 3 gravity quanta.

i am going to try it again in smaller battles.

Does anyone else also have the same issue?

It's a little quirk intentionally put into the game as a little punishment for not being careful haha

Yeah, this has been adressed before, but it's a good question.

It's not a bug but it's meant to prevent abuse of some sort. I don't know how people could abuse getting the quanta back either, but apparently they can.

Conclusion is: it's working as intended, and it's not going to change.

And we all know what you mean  :D

People could use fast-clicking to cast the spell, cancel it and get their quanta back. There are still a number of bugs in the game related to this, but I think it's forbidden to talk about them, because they can be exploited.
