PIB with the mummy... but possibly a bug... https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4788.msg47239#msg47239

So im not sure if this is a bug or not, it seems like one though. When you use imrpove or mutate, and get a mummy, then Reverse Time it, it still turns into a pharoah, even though its a mutant. and that pharaoh is a mutant as well (if intended behavior, then im guessing the pharaohs suppose to be a mutant, but i dont think the changing to a pharaoh is,.

This just happened to me against Seism. I mutated one of his Basalt Dragons into a Mummy with Steal, which he played Reverse Time on. He got a Pharaoh with Deja Vu, which he used.

I don't think this is a bug; it's just an interesting facet of the game.

Mutation/improve change the active skill. Mummy turning into pharaoh is caused by passive skill. Doesn't seem like  a bug.

IMO it is a bug, just like mutated draining pests are.

This is not a bug at all. This is 100% intended behavior. Mutants with passive abilities, Devourer and Mummy, keep those passive abilities no matter what. So Devourer will still steal one quanta from you, and mummy will still turn into a Pharaoh, only the Pharaoh's skill will be something random.

I was just playing T50 with a Darkness deck.  When Pests are lobotmized, they no longer absorb quantum.  If the ability is passive, why is it lost along with burrow?

I think Kamietsu meant that mutants of those base creatures have those abilities no matter what sort of stats, skills and statuses they end up with - unlike active skills which aren't there even if they don't get any as mutants.

And Lobotomizer removes any abilities both active and passive (+momentum).

Of course it does. I play aether mono so I know - and lobotomizing Devourers is usually a good idea.

Yeah, it is peculiar that things like this happen, where the passive skill is lobo'd, or thhe skill is kept when mutated. I dont think it is a bug, but it is bizarre.

I was testing things out in the trainer and just realized that scavenger and bioluminescence are treated as active skills - I always thought those were passive. Phoenix is an active skill as well... I can't see the logic here. This does explain why the mummy skill isn't displayed underneath a Mummy, though.

I also figured out that a Mummy can't be lobotomized. That has *got* to be a bug.
