Dune Scorpion's effect still active after death [not-a-bug] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=36089.msg453865#msg453865

Context

I was playing against a time deck, which played a Dune Scorpion at some time. Next turn he boosted it with Blessing, then when my turn came I killed it with a Fire Bolt.

Problem

After killing the scorpion, his effect "add a poison marker each time the opponents plays a card" remained active until the end of the game.

Proof

Notice how the poison counter went up after I played a card:

First of all, I must say that I like the way you posted the bugs (context, problem, etc). Nice and neat. :)

Unfortunately, I have to tell you that's this is not a bug. Any poison damage (either normal poison or in this case neurotoxin from dune scorpion) will still present until you use Purify; regardless whether the source of poison still present or not. To add, the neurotoxin counter (the numbers in the yellow thingy besides your HP) will increase by one for every card you play.

This is not a bug. Even though the scorpion is dead, the poison and it's effect (increasing when you play a card) continues to tale place. The idea is that once you are bitten by the scorpion the scorpion doesn't need to be alive for you to suffer. Hope this helps.

EDIT: Just ignore this. Suxerz beat me to the mark and is completely right.

So... unless we have a card to heal neurotoxin, we can't stop the counter from growing? Wow.

I guess I just had bad luck then, since the opponent managed to make his scorpion attack on his 2nd turn, before I played most of my cards... By the 4th turn I had 8 poison markers, this seemed a bit too much for me ^^

Thanks for your answers
