I think he meant that he shouldn't be told his sugestion of fixing this is stupid just because Zanz says so, and Zanz is stupid in regards to that....

P.S. I hope I adressed the reason you bolded those words, it's hard to tell when you just quote somebody.

P.S. Yeah, I took it to mean you either disagree or didn't get it. Seriously, just a little thing at the end of the last post saying why you highlighted that part, plx.

What I meant is that Zanz is stupid for punishing us for being victims to quantum uncertainty of the universe. This is simply just wrong.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I like how Zanz made it,but I think he was too soft. People are stupid and think it's perfectly fine, meh I don't feel like giving an explanation. Just flame me.

I found a repeatable bug for the "useless" Otyugh (I'm Aether, my enemy is Gravity):
1. My enemy played an Otyugh. After played these card, he use on it the Momentum spell (doesn't matter, that same round or later)
2. I use one of my Parallel Universe spell on the "Momentumised" Otyugh
3. In the next round of mine, I try to use the Devour spell of my Otyugh (yes, I had one or more Gravity quantum)
4. One of my Gravity quantum has gone, but nothing happened anything (in turn there were some selectable creature with lesser HP than my Otyugh on the battleground)

It isn't the first time, that I meet with this bug - at PVP and vs AI too. I hope, it will be repaired soon! Thank you!

If you look closely, that ability under your Otyugh after you PU'd his momentumed Oty is not devour. It is 'momentum'. Momentum as an ability gives that creature momentum, but since it already has it, there is no perceived effect, but your quanta decreases for using the ability.

This is not a bug with Otyugh, but rather with Parallel Universe. Whenever you PU any creature with momentum, the new copy loses any previous abilities and acquires the 'momentum' ability, which, as stated before, does nothing.
jmizzle7: You're right! The problem is the PU. What is your opinion? Stay here the problem, or open a new topic for it?

I exploit the momentum bug ALL the time against Graviton. You can safely mutate his colossal dragons with momentum until you can eat them with your Oty and don't have to worry about giving him an immaterial 18 attack Ruby dragon or something like that! Or even worse, a devouring Armagjo  :o I think there is already a thread about this though.

As for canceling the ability- Live with it and watch what you're clicking. I've immortalized my opponent creatures when I clicked my Anubis instead of my Otyugh, cast a new 7 point bonewall over a 40 point one, and done all kinds of accidental mis-clicks over thousands of games. Just have to watch what I'm doing. I don't want a confirmation screen for every action I take so I'll live with my own occasional mistake.

I understand both sides of the argument about cancelled abilities and quantum, and see no real problem with either. As long as you know that you don't get quanta back from canceling abilities, you can get around this with little to no difficulty. As for mutants in the top row, those could be problematic, as you don't necessarily want to use 'hatch' on your golden dragon, and shouldn't be penalized for using the ability since you can't read what ability it has. But that is an entirely different topic.

I'd like to add my voice to the camp calling for this to be "fixed".  Partly because, as already pointed out, it's an occasionally frustrating behaviour that really does appear to be more of a bug than a feature, but also because it's completely inconsistent with the behaviour related to cancelling a targetted spell.

Personally, I'd prefer to see both cases allow cancelling with no drawbacks (or maybe at worst a loss of the relevant mana) - but at the very least the two should be consistent, and misclicking a spell in hand should lose the card.

As I said though, I think that would be a little harsh, and it would be better all round if cancelling an ability had no drawbacks. :)

The issue with Momentum is a different bug, so it should have its own topic really...

But, just to add something here, it is Momentum that has the problem, rather than PU, as it also affects creatures which have Momentum cast on them and are then mutated/improved.

^Gemini, not Graviton.

I agree that there should be the option to cancel without penalty. Especially since it can currently cost you dearly through no fault of your own; back-row mutants require you to click them to see their ability (oops I just used my last two life for a 2 attack Dive so I can't mutate now). Also, the cancel button almost completely obscures one of your creatures where it currently appears.
