Multi-target Spells

My proposal is simple, to change multi-targetting spells such as:



I see no reason why you should not be able to choose which field to cast these cards on. This would open up various strategies, such as playing Aflatoxin on one of your own creatures and then casting Plague on them to grow your Vultures, or Desiccating your own Voodoo Dolls to damage your opponent. Thoughts?

I already see voodoo doll otk with RoF.
Voodoo doll already has a lot of combos, I think it's enough.

What you describe already exists.

If you want to hurt your own voodoo dolls or malignant cells with a water AoE spell you should use dry spell (there is actually a deck that does exactly that). I also think that the unnuped pandemonium is more efficient for dolls. Also, to grow your vultures you can just as well kill cells in your opponent side (there are also decks that do this).

Do you mind elaborating on this? You'd need to play 6 voodoo dolls, and gain enough cast 6 Rains of Fire to deal 108 damage for an OTK, all while surviving the damage your opponent throws at you. I think that would be quite a lot to accomplish.

And I still don't see the problem with being able to target your own creatures with these cards.

Do you mind elaborating on this? You'd need to play 6 voodoo dolls, and gain enough cast 6 Rains of Fire to deal 108 damage for an OTK, all while surviving the damage your opponent throws at you. I think that would be quite a lot to accomplish.

You only need 3 RoF and 12 voodoo.
Of course, it's a trio, but it can still work.

Aside from voodoo, there isn't really much of a point to make this change. Unless you want to stack death effects for your bone wall/vulture.

Well, you'd be able to empty your field if it's full of unwanted Cells, and AM'd creatures. Might be a bit situational, but I think it wouldn't be too much of a problem even with Voodoo-Fractal-RoF.

Voodoo - 2 -> for 12 voodoo, 24 .

Total quanta cost -> 45.

Further on, you'd need more than one fractal or repeatedly draw voodoo. Your hand would have to be something akin to :

4 Voodoo + 1 Fractal (For 12 voodoos with only one fractal) + 3 draws for the 3 RoFs so you can finally OTK. This is a total of 45 quanta + three draws.

If you have RoFs in hand, that'd be

3 RoFs + 1 Fractal -> 4 cards in hand. Assume all other 4 are voodoos, you'll only have played 9 voodoos by the end of it all.

I don't see this being troublesome.

Even if you consider that, you can still add some firebolts/fahren to be sure you deal enough damage (even drain life/lightning)

If you're going to pack firebolt or fahrenheit, aren't you better off firestalling in the first place? That just adds another card to the fray, making the whole idea even less reliable.

Anyway, I just don't see the whole point of changing these cards, it just doesn't make sense to me.
