I like the targeting thing but it has few uses as of right now unless it were to allow creatures to pass their max hp IMO. Anyway what about give you +1 heal counter when you play it and +1 for each you activate after?
Example: I use 1 I have +1 heal every turn I activate a second it gives me +2 so I have +3hp every turn and so on it would potentially be a max of +21 hp per turn from it but would rely on getting 6 and not getting poisoned.

Like the target creature buff, also remember that Purify has the advantage that it can not be stolen and is harder to destroy than other healing cards.

this card should purify the poison damage done to creatures /work as a permanent:-  +1 hp to all creatures at end of turn.when this card is played,all poison in the field will be removed. along with this,an additional increase in cost by  :water seems fine

 :water i agree, that is should be able to target a creature, to remove poison from it and a one time heal up to 1Nupd ,/, 2Upd. i think that would be fair. and that it should be able to target any player, removing poison from them and giving them the respected, 1 or 2. regeneration.

I think 2/3 heal its fine. You talk about Sanctuary can be destroyed, but in fact this card doesnt need to be destroyed to poison again the player.

...while SoSa does shift the metagame towards more mono-death decks (that usually have poison), IMHO that doesn't necessarily mean people will use purify - even if they do it's still a rather situational card that only counters Poison on yourself and heals you a little bit.

Allowing Purify to target cards would help increase Water's synergy with other Elements (Such as Gravity's Acceleration) as well as giving it a counter to Poison-based CC and cards like Fire Shield (which also makes sense, when you consider Shard of Patience), which I feel would help improve it's flexibility in the current metagame.

The card itself shouldn't be changed in any way, as it serves well its purpose; versatility is its main problem as I see.

The best buff in my opinion for Purify would be something similar that makes Poison so great: that there are other means to apply it - this way it can stack up real quick and pose as a threat for the opponent, even with its negligible 1-3 damage. If Purify-counters would get at least another mean to apply, it would also become a 'threat' for many decks with the continiously growing regen. Of course it shouldn't be spammable as much as poison because that would mean immortality for you after awhile, especially paired up with other sources of healing, but maybe a weapon (or a shield even) would do well, from which you can have only one at a time (unless building a deck around it).

i think that poison decks are WAY too commen in the arena these days...
This is the ONLY card that offers protection against this card

I would rather see it as a valid healing source than a cheap "lol poison u lose" card that can be powered off of a Nova. I think both heal for 3 and cost 3|2.
