fasp_3000 has been eliminated from this event. RootRanger wanted to play for his spot in the next phase. As such, no team will receive the benefit of :light as an Aide for the remainder of this phase. (Unless there is a permanent champion)

LOSS against Firestall. No Ghost all game, could have become very intense otherwise, depending on which control he packed.

Good games, deserved champion! I am glad at least one of my games ended by skill rather than the match-up or RNG (except for the last, but one game is fine).

G1: He played fractix but had a slow start. So despite 3 zaps I could maintain constant pressure and won by a turn.

Frogtal - G2 WIN, G3 LOSS

G2: He seemed to be playing PUGons with dims and I had no silence in hand, so I slowly chipped away at his hp until I could one-shot with fractal. Prolly one turn away from being put on death clock myself.

G3: No fractal until too late and no silence, so he proceeds according to previous plan.

Silent, but deadly - G4 LOSS

G4: Think this would've crushed PUgons but he chose MA Rush. I had a hand clogged with silences, fractals and jades with minimal quanta. Steamrolled.

Dim MA - G5 WIN

G5: At this point I think he was too scared to bring fractix, and so a rushy dim MA seemed best to beat his MA. He had a fast start but no fractal, which let me develop creatures and kill him with one fractal. Had 2 dims in hand for when he fractalled recluse tho, so he had no chance.

ggs UTA, it was an honor playing you all these times. Same for blrawen. I'm relieved to have advanced vs two such formidable opponents. Best wishes for both of you.

My internet died last night, and couldn't get the match done with fippe. Can I ask a bit of an extension to get it done later in the day?

vs Firebolts - Not much damage on both sides of the board, so I had to chain SoSac early, then silenced after hp<40 which let me win by a turn.
vs EQ splash - My only sources of quanta were destroyed, rip.

G2 Win

vs Firebolts - Also a close game. He bolted my recluses to last one more turn, but he only had one bolt left. It was not enough to kill me on the last turn, leaving me 10hp.

G4 Win

vs EQ splash - He got unlucky with pillar draw, and him not having much damage meant that I could whittle his HP down with Arsenic + poisons before dropping the mummies to push him below 40hp.
