de_stroyed his Gravity Shield by not endowing my yungsaders, after I expected it to come out, and using adrenaline appropriately.

After this point, I left prematurely to celebrate my victory. Mathman sat in my computer chair at this point.

Worst performance in a PvP event ever? JCJ Budo 2016. I should say that due to scheduling, itr and I always had to play late at night my end, and I have never made as many missplays in matches as I have in this event. Each round where i was playing coincided with a really busy week leading to rushed and basic deckbuilding, and each round I wasn't playing I was basically free lol.

None of that takes away from itr's mindgating though.

G1 (essentially counter) and 3 (Close, but burst down)

G2 (missplayed dim chain too early, could have had another turn or two to draw into dims later on for deckout, but 4 dims in last 10 cards still hurts)

I subbed for elk here at the 11th hour before the deadline. No need to risk double-losses etc more that already is occurring in this event ?_? nor to give away any possible easy-forfeit-win to td! :)

game 1 - loss
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 61r 61r 61r 61r 622 778 778 778 778 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h 78q 78q 78q 8pu

I tried to make sure to play around as much of td's strong choices as possible... I needed to draw more of my 50% quanta here.

game 2 - loss
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58r 58r 58r 591 591 591 591 591 5aa 5aa 5aa 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 778 778 778 778 78q 78q 78q 78q 7ak 7ak 7an 7an 8pn

Let's try this! -- ha, nope.
*looks at td's deck* -->  :P @ the double-rage on my early Shriekers on turn 2 and 3 (or maybe 3 and 4)!

game 3a - win on both sides of d/c = replay
game 3b - loss
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 595 595 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 61r 61r 61r 61r 622 778 778 778 778 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h 78q 78q 78q 8pu

Turn 2 d/c but play out through my opening 1-quanta draw. Yep, 50% quanta and I draw 1 getting a 2nd quickly with both being 'quaked. In 18 cards -- 4 quanta (that would be 11/12 in my deck at end-game being quanta) -- not enough quanta loss. I feel I had a somewhat good shot in this thing but maybe not?
