Well, Oa never played a Dim fast.... not AI after all. I was using Xeno and i got 65% win rate but it seems not
The closes was to get oa's hp to single digit in round 2 and 30++, 40++ in game 1 and 3 respectively. Good games, best of luck next round.

Secind game stall. Was able to get him to 15 hp I think before decking out and then he had a diss shield.

Added another Be lost anyway deck out was 1 turn away from win here.

back to 30 card deck rushed me down with dragons disco never gave me the chance to play the dim.

Pella 3:2 RootRanger

I was allowed 4 ups per deck.  Root was allowed 10 but played only 6 because he forgot that Permachamps act as Aides regarding ups.  This was obvious when he told me after Duel #1 that I was allowed no ups.  I reminded him of the rule, which he acknowledged, yet still chose to play with only 6.  My best guess for that choice is this:

If only I had known Pella knew what he was doing
Of course, that just means he won't underestimate me next time.  *puts on full plate*

Duel #1 (LOSS):  Silent PUders

He had too much CC for me to handle.

Duel #2 (LOSS):  Essential Half-Blood Farmer

My deck was slow.  His deck was fast.  Also, I couldn't keep the Dim chain going.

Duel #3 (WIN):  Psion/Spider-tal
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 622 625 625 625 625 625 625 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 80g 80g 80g 80g 8pu

I had too much CC for him to handle.

Duel #4 (WIN):  Essential Half-Blood Farmer (different ups)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 808 808 80e 80e 8pu

The most tense and exciting duel of the match.  Essential v. Essential mod.  He played his first Dim when he had 18 cards remaining.  I waited until I had 17 cards and 17HP remaining.  His Dim chain dropped twice, which allowed me to knock him down to 13HP.  My Dim chain remained intact.  His last 2 Dims were in the bottom 3 cards of his deck; when his chain dropped again, I won.
For the record, even with perfect Dim chains on both sides, I would have won by deckout.

Duel #5 (WIN):  Psion/Spider-tal  (same deck as #3)
This, ladies and gentlemen, is how to perform a "Rope-a-Dope" manoeuvre.  After my win by Dim in Duel #4, I somehow knew--not guessed, KNEW--that he would expect Dims again and would pack PC to deal with them.  Therefore, I didn't pack any.  I CC'd his critters as he played them and kept hitting him with my critters.  He Fractal'd, then I Fractal'd.  His HP was so low by that point, though, that the duel was mine.

Good match, sir.

Pella you can't seriously claim to "know" that I would be packing PC. That is outrageous because I am also aware of the possibility that you would revert back to your third deck and choose not to pack Dims myself. It was nothing more than a mere game of luck that you happened to win.

If I could have re-done this event, I probably would not have picked such a rock-paper-scissors element.

Prediction is a skill. You can know through intuition what a person will field. That may seem as random luck but discarding intuition (that formulates as a certainty in one's brain) as outrageous is... weird, from you.

I can, because I did.  I can't explain to you why I was so completely certain you would bring PC to #5.  I can tell you only that I was.  Since you don't have access to my brain or any recordings of its thoughts, you might as well give me the benefit of the doubt.
