Stage I: For Honor - ROUND 5

Post your results and decks in this thread. Both winners and losers will post decks. Play fair, have fun, and good luck!

- Rounds are best-of-5.
- You may change decks between games.
- Shards are banned, unless BOTH players agree to using them. There will be no specific shard banning, either 'yes' for all, or 'no' for all.
- 'Other' cards are allowed.
- You may use any Mark.
- You may only use off-element cards that match your Squad's Aides. 6 of that element per Aide (Pillars/Pendulums do not count for the 6 cards).
- 33% of cards must be in element (Pillars/Pendulum DO count for this.)

In addition, that Champion's team receives the Aides' upgraded card benefit for the rest of Stage 1, and the element cannot be used by anyone for the remainder of Phase 1.

Does this means Challengers get 2 more upgrades too?
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

No, because the Challenger doesn't get the Champions' benefit... just the 2 upgraded cards. (Champions get 4)

Sorry but this is still a  bit unclear for me, so I'll go with an example :
So f.i. squad 2 has 5 champions, 1 permachamp and 3 aides. Does that mean that squad 2 champion have 12 upgrades (10 for champions + 2 from permachamp) and challengers have 6 upgrades ?

Blacksmith treebeard xiii 3-1

This game wore lead by the evil Rng. RNg was very kind at my point of perspective no bad draws and rarely any annoying scramble from him. Even so I think the decks wore pretty equal and I think I could have won anyway and lost. What you think your self?

Those were fun :) Afdarenty 3 - 1 Opsinis. Now, we just need the rest of squad 2 to win.

No pillars/pends for Opsinis and an early OE sniping damsels meant a slow start for Opsinis. Also, dims OP.

A stolen fog and a four damselfly start won the game.

After Jenkar stomping me with the mono last round I had new respect for this thing. Sadly, my first dragon came at card 12, and the second at card 16.

Looked like a bad draw for Opsinis. A decent one for me meant the game.

Reg was rushing with a mono, so I think the advantage was his. However, his deck was diluted with deflags and he kept drawing those (while I didnt), so eventually I could outdamage him.

I decided to return the favor and go mono this time. I think Reg predicted fractix or dragons cause he had a Lightning Storm deck. It didnt really affect my phoenixes besides delaying them a bit. And I had an incredible start, 1st turn: lots of upped quanta, 2nd turn: farenheit and phoenix. In the end I finished with a couple bolts and a deadly phoenix attack.

I wanted to go with a different deck but in the last second I got a hunch and I changed decks. I faced a TS deck with fractix, which looks bad on paper, but again, I had an incredible start. Starting hand: 6 quanta and MP. 1st draw: MP. 2nd draw: Fractal. 3rd draw: pendulum, so I could Fractal into an empty hand.I just knew I cannot lose form there. In the end the TSes made life hard for the MPs, but I managed to play something like 9 so I always had some up and attacking.

GGs. currently we are at 1-1, so if fate allows it, we will have a decider :)
(well I hope our team wins before that, I'm afraid of you)

I got a turn 2 Phoenix but his damage built up too fast. A top deck of anything other than a pillar or Deflag on the last turn might have won this.

He had a great draw with a turn 2 Phoenix and Farenheit while my draw was relatively slow. I never caught up.

Another awesome draw for him. I had so much fire quanta and no creatures to spend it on. He won in 8 turns despite 2 or 3 Storms.

Thanks for the games Acsabi! Hopefully we'll get to play again in 2 rounds time.
