Qiuck note about our enchanter task:
Crossbow is an actual weapon, such as Short Sword or Dagger. Ballista is non-weapon permanent, much like catapult. It's still able to deal damage to creatures, it just doesn't attack the player.
It was made mainly because of a simple logic: while crossbows are used as normal weapon and are relatively small so one person can actually carry the things around, ballistae are siege weapons, which can't be lifted by a standart human being. So yeah

What is the correlation between # of bolts and how much damage is dealt? It's not immediately clear to me.

Crossbow deals 1 damage, however it has 10 bolts. Ballista deals 4 damage, but it only has 3. Again, going back to IRL versions of weapons, it's only logical: Crossbow doesn't need as much time to reload as ballista, resulting into firing 10 bolts in 1 time quanta, while ballista takes 2 to fire 3 times. However, since ballista is a siege weapon, its damage is outstanging to its counterpart.

As it's the final round, i'll do a 'joey' and do a pretend vote. I'll be essentially ignoring TTG's submissions, giving them 100 non-voints each. Instead I might comment on the making of our submissions, or say what i liked most about them.

Spoiler for Royalty:

TTG: Really enjoyed writing this, really felt like a cool climax to the lovely story the Brawlmasters have made this brawl. I didn't realise when we started and Krzy made us all actual Tentacles how fun it would be creating a way of life as a tentacle.

S7: Sad to see no submission here, i'm guessing it just got forgotten about with so many challenges, but it would have been nice to see how your story ended.

Pyro: Decent submission, though "alas" doesn't make much sense in the first sentence, should be 'At last'? Would have liked a bit more unique creativity but it was alright.

FROGS: Loved this submission, but you missed a massive trick: at the start, instead of "kill a dragon" (which you don't actually do) you should have put "take out a dragon" with the double meaning of kill and take on a date. Very silly submission, but i loved it.

TTG: 100
Frogs: 5
Pyro: 2
S7: 0

Spoiler for Wizard Bard:

TTG: Just astounded by the effort both Krzy and Aves put into this, maps and traps made of clay, digitally enhanced, turned into interactive annotations and even a bonus comic. Kudos Krzyves!

S7: Very entertaining take on the task, making it look like a board game. I think the description could have played on this a bit more and really made if feel like a gameshow/board game too, but overall a lovely submission

FROGS: This feels unfinished. With no traps and very easy path through the maze i'd like a bit more. It's a shame because i like the computer game look.

Pyrocloaks: This is surreal. At first glance I can't really fault it because I don't have a clue what's going on. At least it's creative. I like the 'unreasonable' path haha, makes me wonder if the path is disagreeing with pyrocloaks and stubbornly saying "i am not a path" while discord screams "you're being unreasonable!"

TTG: 100
S7 10
Pyrocloaks: 7
Frogs: 3

Spoiler for Crusader Enchanter:

TTG: Love the idea of flooding the dragon, but to make it work the weapon had to be just right. This would work because the Shadow Weavers would grow the rest of the creatures out of Fire Breath Range while we are protected by sundial, they can then be killed before Antimatter. Yes, it's not a hard counter, but on it's day it should win.

Pyro: Hmm, the task said make a weapon, so you are pushing it making a card which upgrades to be not a weapon, but I'll let it slide. The card is ok, but is outshone by owl's eye in almost every way. I don't get where you were going with the deck i'm afraid, wing flap and dragon's breath would absolutely wreck you, sorry :(

S7: Like the card a lot, and it's very VERY your team. Cool. Lovely deck too with quinted saders, but I'm slightly sad to see phase shields as your defense. Still, excellent submission over-all.

FROGS: I can't decide if I LOVE your weapon or hate it. It feels very OP as essentially a dryspell each turn without the quanta, and the dragon can very easilly play around it making sure not to go over 11 quanta. Wings feels a little lame as defense, and the deck as a whole feels very 'build a deck around an OP card we made up. Still, overall a working submission.

TTG: 100
S7: 13
Frogs: 6
Pyro: 2

Spoiler for Scribe:

TTG: Silver has such a mad imagination, was a pleasure to read his ideas for how the teams could die. The S7 one was originally very confusing with the last member reaching for his dagger and it wasn't there and he dies eerily with no explanation of who could have killed him, but we decided it was a little tooo unexplained :P

Pyro: This is excellent, a really pleasing poem. Top marks.

FROGS: has a nice feel, i like the children sitting on the knee thing. Also loved the image of us tentacles being frightened of everything outside the sea. Decent submission, though i feel some of the failures could have been a bit more creative.

S7: it's alright, but felt slightly rushed. The floor to ceiling trap was nice, and I liked the ending of shaming the other team who dragged the dragon back, so certainly gets some points.

TTG: 100
Pyro: 8
Frogs: 7
S7: 5

Spoiler for Bonus:
TTG: So much fun, i liked the idea of two bards being tenor and bass, and decided not to put guitar to it as they would simply stand on the plinth of the statue and sing. Really enjoyed self harmonizing properly for the first time, hope you guys enjoy it too.

FROGS: Short and very sweet, i loved this submission. Full of lovely exaggerations, a nice image of stabbing the dragon with its own claw, and liked the 'Dragon's Day' and 'God-King' touches. You call mathman mortal and immortal within a sentence, and 'single handed' sort of disses your team, but these are minor criticisms. Good read.

S7: It's alright, but again felt a little rushed. it didn't have any uniqueness about it, and while it was well written, it fell a little flat for me.

Pyro: Started off with a nursary rhyme line 'once upon a time' but then didn't use that format which i found a bit disapppointing as that would have been a nice frame for this task. I didn't really like throwing a random youtube video in there but as a whole it was a decent, if a bit average submission.

TTG: 100
FROGS: 10
S7: 5
Pyro: 5

Spoiler for Challenges:

1: Computer Wizard TTG vs FROGS

Well I didn't like this task. I don't like tasks that require specialist knowledge and I especially don't like that Arth used a game editor that he's obviously been using for a while.
That said, their game is high quality and incredibly polished, if a little repetitive. I actually really like ours and am super impressed with Aves making it from scratch in just a week. It has a nice playability trying to memorize the best path, and working out exactly how long you should wait, and just enough treasure to keep you wanting to do better and better. Thanks Aves, good effort, and wish FROGS best of luck in this challenge, I encourage all votors to play both games as i think they are both impressive consivering time restraints!

2: Scribe Story TTG vs Pyro

Cool task, i really enjoyed it! Quite pleased with the direction we went with this one too. Good luck Pyros :)

3: Representative Colors S7 vs Pyro

Loved both of these for different reasons. Loved the colour and vibrancy of pyros and loved the identity-less lore of S7. Very tough pick. In the end went with S7 because it made me smile more, but could have gone either way 100%.

4: Dragons Are People Too TTG vs Pyro

Our response to their 'story about your team' task. interestingly we went for similar vengeance endings, i wonder which way this one will go :)

5: Where is the dragon? There he is! TTG vs FROGS

Not much to say here, rob made our dragon and i think he's great, but theirs is very cool too.

6: Cygnia Strikes Back!  S7 vs FROGS

Bit harsh that darkness have no new cards in element, but then frogs haven't used theirs, so it's cool. Another tough pick here, but S7 lose a bit of credit from me for using void pends as some of their cards, and it's nice FROGS showed win-screens, so i think FROGS edge this one but really tough call.

7: Do you like my song? S7 vs FROGS

Why don't I get a song challenge? :(

Harder to judge without hearing a performance, but lyrically I prefer S7's song, it felt a bit more dramatic and taken more seriously.

8: Elemental Affinity S7 vs FROGS

S7 win this one for me, love the cloak synergy, though possibly a bit OP.

9: That's What We Said TTG vs FROGS

Fun task from Krzy, hope both submissions give folks a chuckle :)

Spoiler for nonvote:
Spoiler for royalty:
I love TTG's, and FROGS as some humor to it that just feels so mathmanesque, with Ale being a key part of their team, that can't go without some points.
Spoiler for bard/wizard:
I quite like how clean quick and simple frog's submission here is. I also like TTG's submission. I dislike however both our submission and pyrocloaks, for the simple reason it was not a scribe task.
Spoiler for enchanter/crusader:
I dislike Pyrocloak's submission as I do not understand it at a first glance. When a card is in game, a player should understand the card upon reading it, should not need to go to notes, in my opinion. Same thing for FROGS, really. As for TTG's enchanter task, I dislike how it basically takes its effect from shockwave, an existing card. I prefer our submission by far here.
Spoiler for scribe:
Pyrocloaks, really well done. Please try to spell Jonathan correctly next time though. TTG's ... well written I guess? I think there was a misunderstanding of our team atmosphere and theme, as the S7 part of the story makes no sense at all. FROGS talked more about me than our team, which I guess can be fine, but then I dislike that there is no ending to the story. You talk about the 3 other teams failing, and there's nothing more.
Spoiler for bonus:
good job everybody, all very different yet all very good.

Spoiler for nonchallengevotes:
Spoiler for FROGS vs TTG:
Computer Wizard : not going to play or vote.
Where is the dragon? There he is! : TTG's obviously higher quality to me.
Spoiler for TTG vs Pyrocloaks:
Scribe Story: Simple enough to vote here. TTG did not write a story.
Dragons are people too : Both stories were good. Matter of preference I would go with TTG this time.
That's what we said : TTG made me laugh :)
Spoiler for obviouslyS7winsallchallengesinthisspoiler:
VS Pyrocloaks ;
Representative colors : while it is explained, I still dislike how an armor is supposed to represent you. And I like our drawing more anyway.
VS FROGS ;
Cygnia strikes back! : I dislike that they challenged us with this knowing that Cygnia has no new darkness cards, and knowing that if the task said Oetg, both teams would be able to submit much better stuff.

Do you like my song? : you cannot have unharmed rhyme with unharmed.

Elemental affinity : While I agree pixie would be a good addition to the life element, it is not original.

It isnt just that darkness has no new cards there is also no new card with darkness cost abilities or direct synergy with a darkness card (one exception, its a life card you have already seen 3 decks off).
Our options were vanilla etg war deck, mono with harmonic and void pillars/pends, bloodletting voodoo (as far as I can tell its really seriously weak) and this. Why do you dislike void pends there? Its a quantadenial deck and you can intentionally hold them back on turn 1(when going first) to deny crucial quanta earlier/quicker than devs do, potentionally preventing counterplay while malignancy pests are still setting up.

Spoiler for screenies that I made that we somehow failed to update the post with:
death nymph staying true to its element: insufficient quanta means malignancy can work as removal

using malignancy to kill (older version of the deck):
Spoiler for nymph:

Spoiler for no nymph:

winscreenies:
magewin (its pretty much impossible to loose against mage, but I only saved this one as they are all similiar):
Spoiler for Hidden:
championdefeat (not really a recommended target, as double mark is a real problem, but its good enough):
Spoiler for Hidden:
defeat of fully upped version of Frogs round 3 deck despite fungus being nocturnal (seen from frogs perspective, showing there was really nothing left to do for a few turns already):
Spoiler for (not an outlier it denies quanta very quickly):

:gravity War 10
:death and tied for master of STANDIN War 11
Master of :time War 12

I still don't really understand the bolts in Pyrocloak's Enchaner weapon. How do you use the bolts exactly? Crossbow deals 4 dmg to opponent at end of turn (I assume) and then then you gain 10 bolts. Does that mean I can deal 1 damage to a creature 10 times? 10 damage on a creature? one damage per turn or 10 dmg per turn?
Do you use reload once and then you have 10 uses of a free "shoot" skill before you need to reload again?

Royalty
Pyrocloak's submissions was not bad, but it was a bit tame compared to the other two. FROGS was great and fun, but a bit of a miss is that it states "kill" at the beginning, and I am unsure what the enchanted jewelry actually do. TTG's was wellmade as usual, but I still give this to the FROGS for the fun twist,
Winner: FROGS

Bard
I think Pyrocloaks has the best image here, since the others are more like maps. S7's map looks very different though and looks more like a puzzle or gameboard, which is interesting.
Winner: Pyrocloaks

Wizard
FROGS has just a line through the maze, which wasn't very interesting to begin with, so pretty boring. TTG has the best one I think, it was really fun to see poor Krzy getting stuck in all the traps. S7 was cool, but I expected more of a game/puzzle solution to the maze when I saw the image. Pyrocloak's submission is basically closest to what I thought aobut when we designed the task, and I liked it too.
Winner: TTG

Enchanter
Pyrocloak's card looks UP as unupped (assuming 1 dmg to creature per turn), but upped looks OP seeing as you can have several out at the same time. FRGOS also looks a bit OP, basically free mass cc each turn. Both S7 and TTG was cool, since it wasn't just damage target, but had a twist. TTG's is slightly more versatile though, since you can use it to freeze instead of having to kill too.
Winner: TTG

Crusader
I'm confused to why Pyrocloak's deck is almost entirely unupped. With no text to justify the deck, it seems like unupped oty+plate is far too slow to have any chance against the dragon. Upped weapon might help, nut not much. S7's deck looks cool, Quinted Crusader with the daggers behind dims is a nice idea, and might actually to kill creatures. FROGS's Ravener really is a good direct counter to the dragon, which is a plus to me. Having 6 weapons in the deck seems a bit over kill though, sure you want to play it early, but it feels like you have plenty of time when hiding behind Wings. The indepth description of strategy is great though. TTG's deck looks good too, AM+Flooding+Freezing looks like it could work.
Winner: FROGS and S7

Scribe
I really like the poetic style of Pyrocloak's submission, it flowed well. The content of TTG's was my favorite though, and I liked how the stories flowed together a bit, making it part os a whole. S7's connection with the wizard task was nice too, and the way it was all part of the same story.
Winner: Pyrocloaks and TTG

Bonus
FROGS might be the shortest submission, but the exaggerations in it is the best imo. TTG and PC also got considerable 'greatness' with building massive statues.
Winner: FROGS

Computer Wizard
FROGS game was a bit fun, but it felt a repetitive and the physics got frustrating at times when the frog stopped in mid-air when it hit something.
TTG's I liked a bit better, and the high score aspect made it replayable.

Scribe Story
Pyrocloak's is a bit too focused on Zyardran imo, with little or no background for the others. Most just seems to show up randomly to become friends with Zyardran. TTG's is a bit more spread out on the whole team.
Winner: TTG

Representative Colors
Hmm, I liked both of these about the same. In the end I'll give it to S7 because it looks more 'clean'.

Dragons Are People Too
Both stories were similar and I liked them both. TTG's was a bit shorter and felt easier to read, so it wins.
Winner: TTG

Where is the dragon?
Similar images, but TTG's is more detaild and looks better to me.

Cygnia Strikes Back!
The use of durability and terra tiger was nice, but I like S7's version of denial better here. The Void/Malignancy/Pest combo is cool.

Do you like my song?
The rhymes in FROGS was a bit off, with two unharmed and the use of damned. Maybe it wasn't supposed to rhyme either, but it felt a bit off. S7 didn't have perfect rhymes everwhere either, but I think their song flowed better and was funner to read.

Elemental Affinity
S7 's card was more interesting with the onplay-effect of cloak compared to simply immaterial and momentum.

That's What We Said
Both were funny in its own way, but TTG got the Elbat pun which was the funnest I think, so it wins.

EDIT: Added moar votes, rest will come tomorrow (so tired, sowwy)
