Spoiler for BOSS & FORUM EXPERT:
I Got a Crush... on Zanz!
Propose a way to make Elements more viral on the internet.
Spoiler for Meaning of Life:
Ways to make Elements more viral on the internet:
  • We get some Youtube gamers to play it :P
  • We get some players to Youtube it
  • other forms of mass media
  • Stylized videos of PvP-giants doing battle - WC matches?  sort of how lots of video game commercials are "non-gameplay" type videos of in-game creatures/weapons/environments
  • Sell elements based stuff. Shirts with pretty vrt art, Phoenix-shaped candies, Sundial...sundials, that type of stuff. As the instructions are rather vague, we can sell them in stores in real life or on the internet.

Spoiler for Frostbite Borealis:

^ this is how you infect the masses with elements

Spoiler for Ragnarok:
Zanzarino has left us, cursed us, abandoned us to some hellish ideal of portfolio project.
Elements stands dead, with a barely beating heart, slowly dying, piece by piece...

Yes, people. The time of the SoW Reflect is upon us.

SoW Reflect is a deck that centres around using Quintessence, Shard of Wisdom, and Reflective Shield to make your opponent kill themself. Sometimes, when facing a really, really difficult opponent, you will find yourself getting oddly amused by the impossible ods.

In a way, the SoW Reflect Sensation is how many of us feel about elements; it's dying, but we still love it. And I believe it is what we should share with the internet as the Elements community's anthem. Basically, we're emulating Darude - Sandstorm.

I believe the SoW Reflect Meme can have four steps towards causing everyone to flock towards us.
We, the elements community, will use it as much as we can as a catchphrase. The catchphrase will spread on to other people.

Then, we will make the memes, just like the ones scattered in this writing.
People will keep using the memes, over and over.
Then, Pewdiepie will use the meme, because he loves memes. And then everyone will use the meme because Pewdiepie used the meme, and then people will flock to elements due to the subliminal advertising.

... And if that doesn't work, we can just murder someone and put a link to elements the game on thier corpse. The Streisand Effect at its finest, people.

So get started people!
Make your SoW Reflect memes today!
Here is the base: http://i.imgur.com/FCLWpR8.png
And if you need a quick meme generator: http://imgur.com/memegen/create/6IqF94E

(You have one guess as to the creator of this piece of writing.)

Spoiler for Red Stars:
When thinking about how to make the game more well known on the internet we came across the following points:

  • Members should divulge the game to their friends. For example, that's how Vangelios got to this game.
  • The second thing that would be great is Zanz returning, but we have no control over this.
  • We can advertise EtG in other card game forums, especially ones dedicated to MtG.
  • We need more Lets players for elements. jigley9higley's chanel is a good example  of what can be done.
  • Established card game veterans of more famous card games like MtG and Hearthstone could bring some segments of their fan bases into Elements by trying it - Hearthstone itself gained greatly from MtG pros like Brian Kibler's trials of the game.
  • Non game communities, such as fans of cancelled television shows like Stargate Atlantis or Firefly, often write stories about the world those were set in, long after new source material has stopped being produced.  Exploring the room for story depth in the Elements World can let us reach out to a different crowd than the hardcore gaming crowd, and fandom alone can sustain a community for many years.

Finally, a game needs advertising to survive and bring in new members. If Zanzarino won't do this, then youtube, card game forums and mouth to mouth is all we have left. Elements, as a game, has a great number of strong points:
  • EtG is a free game with no BS like some of the more recent games
  • It has been around for a while
  • It has a great and solid community behind it
With these discovered by more people through youtube, card gamers, interpersonal interactions, and fandoms, we hope that Elements can become as viral as it truly deserves to be.

Spoiler for Gravy Train Co.:
With the game slowly dying, hope seems to be lost. It seems there is only one way to restore Elements back to it's former glory and beyond... Internet Virility.
The search for this ludicrous solution forced me to search the Internet for 2 whole minutes about how to make things viral. I don't think ebola is gonna work here. To start, I took a look at how some of the most popular games today attained their undeserved popularity (who wants to simulate a goat?). A classic example I found was Minecraft: You don't do anything, but it sells a lot.. Back when Minecraft was young, it was reviewed by Jayisgames. Oh wait, Elements has that too. Minecraft's lead developer stopped working on it a few years after it's release, aaaaaaand check! Minecraft has multiplayer (cuz diamond mining is as boring as grinding), Elements has multiplayer too. As a bonus, they both lag. A lot.
So what does Minecraft have that Elements does not? According to my sources, another reason Minecraft got huge was because of Let's Plays. Let's be honest here, there are very few Let's Plays of Elements. The way to spread the virility is obviously through Let's Plays. While some argue that no one wants to see people farming AI3 for 15 minutes, people are perfectly content to watch others punch wood for 15 minutes. To sum up, Elements will be able to obtain internet virility through Let's Plays on YouTube. Sounds almost too easy.
As a second option, Terraria gained it's popularity through Notch tweeting about it. So, we could also hack a celebrity's social media. Maybe illegal, but #WorthIt.

The story of the lonely Anubis

Once  upon a time there was a kid named Anubis, or Little Anu for friends and family. He was not born in the  country of Elements, but hailed from a far away land that many consider a myth. Others just call it Egypt.
Because of this, he was different from his classmates in Elements Elementary.

Being different has its drawbacks. The other kids, especially the ones  from Waterville, tended to tease and bully him. They often took his lunch  money, played practical pranks, and usually called him Isanub ("Anubis is a noob! Anubis Isanub!"). This went on for a long, long time.

One day little Anu realized he is not the only one who has to suffer this. Another kid, called Angel, was also picked on by those wicked, worthless wrongdoers, and Anu decided that enough is enough.
He yelled "Leave that kid alone!" and stood in front of Angel to protect him.

The rascals beat little Anu up, then left, loudly laughing on their way.
Angel was really moved by Anu's bravery and said: "Here friend, let me help you". He healed the bruised little hero.

The  two of them became best friends forever. When they grew up they traveled together, protecting and healing those in need of help, and  were warmly welcomed whereever they went (unlike the brutes, who only got jobs at the local McDaggers).
On the day they met they learned that helping each other is the meaning of life.

The End

Spoiler for Frostbite Borealis:
Once upon a time there was a little Micro Abomination. And he was not a very happy creature.
All the other creatures picked on him because he was so misshapen and ugly. He was always mutated by his master, and this made him the ugliest Abomination – and they aren’t a pretty bunch.

In fact, even the other Abominations were mean to him, because even though the master had chosen to upgrade him, he was smaller, weaker and uglier than them.
And the Otyohs always ate HIM first.

But then one day. One glorious day, it all changed.
Something happened to him. At first he didn’t understand. He suddenly felt more powerful.
He suddenly felt more useful.
He suddenly didn’t feel ugly anymore.
Then he knew what he was. He was a beautiful BUTTERFLY!

He fluttered around the lovely field, he wanted to use his powerful wings.
“Look what I can do!” He shouted!
He destroyed the other master’s weapon.
He destroyed their shield.
Destroyed their Sundial.
Their hourglass.
Pendulums.
Pillars.

But then the other master had nothing left to destroy. He was sad – he liked destroying things.
So he turned around. Surely the master didn’t need all of those pillars?
The master didn’t need all of those pendulums.
Didn’t need that Dissipation Field.
That Discord.
The little Micro Abomination looked around.
Suddenly, he realised he was all alone.
Nobody was there to be mean, but nobody was there to be nice either.
Maybe he shouldn’t have destroyed everything.
Maybe he should have waited to let everyone notice he was nice and beautiful.
Maybe he shouldn’t have been such an aggressive, destructive little squirt.
Now he was all alone.

Spoiler for Ragnarok:
Little Big Otyguh
By Zawadx and Kakerlake

Once upon a time, in the rolling Oracle Plains, there lived a little Otyugh.

Ok, maybe not that little; it could eat up over half of all creatures with ease. And so all the little creatures of the Oracle Plains shunned the Otyugh. Its only playtime was when foolhardy adventurers would swing their daggers at it, trying to obtain some cards. And then they’d be gobbled up by the Otyugh with a big SLURP!

One day, the Otyugh decided that the people of the Oracle Plains were just too mean. So it slowly waddled towards the rocky mountains of the Earth Element. On the way, it encountered several little Antlions playing in the mud. The Otyugh opened its mouth in joy, but at the sight of its amber uvula the Antlions swiftly buried themselves. Then the Otyugh huffed, and he puffed, and he, well, complained about the state of kids these days as he waddled away.

Next he went to the Forest of Life. Several Rustlers were playing Catch-the-Light on the forest floor, giggling in the sunshine. But as soon as the Otyugh’s paws crunched a leaf, they bolted for the canopy. The Otyugh slammed its head into a tree in frustration, which made an angry Life Dragon fly down from its nest. The Otyugh proceeded to devour the dragon in one bite.

(It had eaten a LOT of hapless adventurers. And maybe one or two huffed and puffed Antlions).

The Otyugh traveled through all the Elemental Realms, finding creatures fleeing at top speed in all directions. Finally, it slowly waddled into the Domain of Death, and met the great Master of Death Fippe94.

“What’s the matter, not-so-little Otyugh?” Fippe asked.

“Nobody wants to play with me!” The Otyugh cried.

The Fippe smiled, and directed the Otyugh to the south. Waddling there, the Otyugh found the Gravy domain, where no creature had to fear him. A Honey Charger and an Armedilgo came running to hug him, and they played Eat-the-Antlion till sundown. And thus they lived happily ever after.

Once there was an Oracle And he loved a little elemental. And every day the elemental would come
And he would listen to his advice. And use the predictions to make the perfect deck to beat a false god.
He would spin the wheel, and collect the cards, and when he was too tired to keep battling he would log off and watch T.V.

And the elemental loved the Oracle Very much.. And the Oracle was happy.

But time went by, And the elemental grew older. And the Oracle was often alone. Then one day the elemental came

to the Oracle and the Oracle said:

-"Come, elemental, come and spin my wheel and collect a card, and build your arena deck for all of the other elementals to

play against and be "happy"

-"I am too rich to need common cards"said the elemental. "I want to buy upgrades and have fun. I want some nymphs.

Can you give me some nymphs?"

-"I'm sorry" said the Oracle, "but I have no nymphs right now. I have only this artic squid. Take my squid, elemental,

and sell it in the bazaar. Then you will have upgraded cards and you'll be happy"

And so the elemental took the squid and the electrum. And the Oracle was

happy...

But the elemental stayed away for a long time and the Oracle was sad.

And then one day the elemental came back and the Oracle shook with joy, and he said:

-"Come, elemental come and spin my wheel and listen to my advice and build arena decks

for people to play against and be "happy"..

-"I am too busy to build arena decks," said the elemental. "I want a fire nymph to warm my creatures," he said. "I want a

water nymph to make other nymphs, and so I need a nymph. Can you give me a nymph?"

-"I have no nymphs today" said the Oracle. “I do not battle and they rarely come to me" said the Oracle "but you may spin my wheel, and maybe get a fahrenheit

to burn your opponents with. Then you will be happy"

And so the elemental took the fahrenheit and built a flying fahrenheit deck for the arena.

And he was happy.

But the elemental stayed away for a long time and the Oracle was sad. And when he came back, the Oracle

was so happy he could hardly speak.

-"Come, elemental" he whispered, "Come and spin"

-"I am too old and sad to play. "said the elemental. "I want a nymph that will make the other elementals jealous. Can

you give me a nymph?"

-"Yeah, I have a water nymph for you today” said the Oracle.

And the elemental was happy.
And the Oracle was happy.

Spoiler for CARD DESIGNER:
U-U-Underused?
Create a card that works extremely well with at least 3 different UP/underused in-game EtG cards.
Spoiler for Meaning of Life:
Empowerment | Improved Empowerment

Empowerment synergises with Gravity Shield, Liquid Shadow, and Dissipation Shield in different ways. All three cards are not known for being used very often, and are in the lower end of the card stats table. However, it also does well with other cards and so is not FORCED to be used with them.

Gravity Shield: Empowerment increases the health of ALL creatures, so a couple of these and basically everything's guaranteed to be blocked.

Liquid Shadow: Empowerment gives any creature with LS an extra two turns to attack and heal. These turns can be vital in most games using LS.

Dissipation Shield: If there are 2 | 3 creatures on the field, Empowerment effectively pays for itself. If there are more than that, there is technically a gain in quanta, which works well with Diss, because the upped doesn't care what quanta it is draining. Improved Empowerment also works really well with unupped Diss and an Entropy mark.

It synergises well with light (an underused element) because, as light does not really have any CC, the opponent's creatures gaining a bit more HP isn't really a concern. Light also has a big focus on (creature's) health, as seen in Angel, Blessing, Holy Light etc. Also, Light is made up of colours, and so it makes sense for it to have the ability to convert quanta.

I balanced Empowerment on SoP, while keeping in mind that it's generally considered OP.

Spoiler for Frostbite Borealis:

Three UU card synergies:

Guardian Angel - Now raises max HP of creatures by five each turn
Holy Light - Is essentially now a very big Plate Armor
Sparks/Phase Salvagers - Poison takes affect before the attack, so they would be able to survive and constantly heal

Another combo:

Plague + Gravity Shield - Eventually, none of the creatures will be able to get to you (assuming there's no Momentum or spell damage or anything complicated), even though this is a trio

The poison is affected by the "raise max HP" effect.

Death cards are pretty hit and miss.
Half of the element, such as poison, arsenic, and shard of sacrifice, is some of the strongest in the game.

The other half is quite weak, though.

This card obviously synergises with soul catcher, bonewall, vulture, and boneyard. But it also synergises with any spell - precognition and shard of bravery especially, but luciferin or holy light might not be a bad addition, either.

Spoiler for Red Stars:
Siphoner | Elite Siphoner
Works really well with Schrodinger's Cat, Virus, Catapult, Spark and Phase Salvager, all of which can be considered underused.

The Siphon ability is passive, and gives both active and passive abilities from the target creature to the Siphoner. The abilities will stay until they are removed (by Lobo or whatever) or replaced by another creature dying, whereas the attack increase will last only 1 turn (attack). The attack power is an increase (eg. A spark dying would give the Siphoner +3|+0, taking it to 4|6 for a turn) and can trigger multiple per turn, if multiple creatures die. Multiple Siphoners all respond to a creature's death, and all gain its abilities and the attack boost.

Explanation of cards:
  • Death and Time Pendulums for generating quanta needed - death, time, and aether.
  • Elite Skeleton represent the 'dead' from the horror movie Night of the Living Dead.
  • Eternity allows turning the dead into living creatures again!
  • Fractal serves to multiply the effects of the dead and the living undead.

Cool random synergy with RoL living-dead the turn after the Seraph living-dead. :)

Strategy:
  • Drop the quanta Get the quanta flowing so Skellies can be spammed, Fractal can be used, and Eternity can begin bringing back to life!
  • Note that against decks with CC (especially MASS CC) to save a Skeleton in-hand for future fractal (similar to the RoL/Hope method with RoL's).
  • Start rewinding Skeletons with the Eternity to create the effect.  I like doing it in a pattern to intermingle the living-dead with the still-dead.

Our deck is based on a horror classic from the early 90s, Arachnophobia, where a peaceful american town suddenly sees itself invaded by deadly poisonous spiders.

Card by card breakdown:
  • Mark of Darkness: All of the darkness cards of the deck are fueled mostly off mark
  • Bone Towers and pendulumns: Is the main quanta production of the deck. The pendulumns help to bring
  • Flesh Recluses and Bloodsuckers: the lovely arachnid protagonists of our deck/movie that will be the main hitters. The bloodsuckers also have the deadly bite from the spiders in the movie, killing any creature that crosses their path
  • Deadly Poison and Arsenic: Represent the spiders biting your opponent and leaving him poisoned
  • Bone Wall: If you have seen the movie and the speed with which people die there, you won't find piles of dead people strange
  • Eclipse: These spiders love to attack under the cover of the night, mostly because it makes them creepier
  • Nightmare: You'll probably have a feel after seeing the movie :P

This deck is very effective against AI3 and shouldn't be too bad in PvP or AI4. It is a great rush, with potential for CC if needed as well as shield bypass in the form of poison. There are no subtle points about using this deck, just attack and kill whatever can give you problems or putting a bone wall if the presure starts to build too much.

Spoiler for Meaning of Life (1/2 points - late submission):
Aetherlover34567 Phase Salvager Review: Phase Salvager Vs. Graviton Salvager
Okay guys, this is it, I just got in the brand new Aether Phase Salvager. Now as some of you may know, I bought the notably less sophisticated Graviton Salvager from Gravity to make a comparison. As expected, Gravity's model is huge and bulky. No doubt it functions as slowly as it moves. Now the Aether model is amazingly light, almost like it isn't there. Modern technology such as this is truely amazing. Obvious superiority aside let's get down to what you guys want to know. Start time, Function, and ability to last.

The results of my start time comparison were surprising. Both started up very quickly (A huge surprise to the Graviton) though the Phase Salvager's battery died almost instantly. I'm sure that was because I hadn't charged it beforehand. Meanwhile the Graviton model just kinda sat there, you can just see how weak it is.

Now, Comparison of function was a little difficult. The Graviton model worked well enough I suppose. As well as you could expect from a Gravity Product. Now I'm sure I got a defective Aether product as it violently lashed out, as soon as it was turned on, then vanished. I'm sure it had something to do with the dimensional tech found in all aether products, I'll upgrade it and get back to you.

JaysaJ's Glam Reviews!

Hello girls!
I'm bringing another review of an amazing product, the P-Salvo+!
Just bought it in the shopping mall today. I have to say, despite its affordable price, it still really has that luxurious feel.
Here's a pic:
Spoiler for Hidden:

The P-Salvo+ is literally an interdimensional trashcan. Candy wrappers? Gone. Old unfashionable clothes? Gone. Even the floor sparkles a bit without all the dust thanks to this fellow! No need to tell this guy what to remove, he already knows what to pick up!

The AI is, oh my gosh, #Amazing. After a few hours of instalment (I suck at technology, okay?!), it can work on its own already! No need to tell which stuff to vacuum up. I felt really changed my life being able to finally see the floor (don't ask why I couldn’t see it before ;) ).

Oh, and another thing, I will write down my experiences with this cute little thing. Let's see how it will affect my day to day routine!

DAY 1:

Travelled around the house, it seems like it isn’t even my house anymore! Completely different, thanks to the P-Salvo+ !
You guys should really try it! (Shameless Advertisement)

DAY 2:

Threw away my trashcan. Hmm, when I thought about it, this helps the environment! Hooray for Mother Earth! My kitten (named Gal, aww!) is missing for some reason, oh well, that means no fur lying about.

DAY 3:

I'm really worried about my cat now. I miss her so much (even though she's dirty all the time).
Checked my wardrobe and some clothes are missing, not all of them, just the out-of-season ones.
Some of my girl stuff too! Like my perfumes...

DAY 4:

Hmm, my P-Salvo+ is missing, did someone steal it?! It`s my only source of cleanliness, ya know?
A little bit of gossip here, but someone in my neighbourhood is also reported missing, how creepy! There must be a serial killer on the loose!

DAY 5:

Found my little toy! It seems to be playing hide and seek, do they have sentience? Plus points for ingenuity!
It`s getting weird though, seems to keep looking at me, all the time.

DAY 6:

I'm getting scared; I want to report this to the authorities. Maybe it's just me but I think P-Salvo+ killed my neighbour, and it is coming at me next.
Changing my review now! Probably this P-Salvo+ is just buggy! 0 of 5 stars, period!
If I don't make a review the next day, you know what’s happened...

4 Possible side effect includes, and are not limited to: nausea, back pain, sore throat, heart attacks, cancer (all forms), pregnancy, being posessed by the Great Lucifer, and/or turning into a flashlight.

Spoiler for Red Stars:
Today, we're going to be taking a look at a quite popular creature, the Sapphire Charger.

This creature is supplied by Gravity and, at a first glance, might seem quite simple. You pay 5 :gravity to summon it, and you have a nice 4|5 creature sitting on your field. But there's a twist; the Sapphire charger is one of the only creatures that comes with momentum as standard. For a creature that's designed to deal damage, it's just common sense to include shield by-passing on the base model. Other creatures simply rely on the Momentum add-on (also available from Gravity) to get around the ever-increasing number of shields you see on the board these days. Air's SoFree network and Aether's newly designed Spell Damage concept are also of note here, but those aren't sold at most Bazaars, and can be hard to get your hands on. Gravity also use their momentum on the Chimera, but that bulky and expansive design really struggles to find a place in a deck. So then the Sapphire Charger really is in a league of its own when it comes to getting through a Dimensional Shield, or any other shield for that matter.

Of course, the Charger comes with additional features beyond the momentum ability. It has a solid 5 HP, which is nothing to turn your nose up at, and comes with a 256x256 display custom designed by vrt, giving in a really sleek and modern look especially compared to older models. The Charger can also boast having the most RAM of any creature in game by a long shot, with Light's unsuccessful prototype Holy Cow being a distant second place.

As for compatibility, the Sapphire Charger's medium cost means it can be included in other decks which have enough Gravity quanta to support it. If you're in another element but still really want to use a Charger, then you could try swapping to a Gravity mark, or even trying to fit a few Gravity Pillars into your deck. But it is definitely worth checking whether there's another creature that might be more suited for the job before you invest in a new element.

The base model will cost you 59 :electrum, but if you're rich enough, or brave enough, then you can spend an extra 1,500 :electrum to get the Elite Charger. This version manages to pack in an extra 3 attack points, but without losing HP or increasing the quanta cost. That makes the Elite Charger a very strong hitter, for a very reasonable cost as well. If you can afford to upgrade to the Elite model, it will definitely help you out in getting that extra damage that the Sapphire Charger just can't give you.

So to wrap things up, the Sapphire Charger is definitely a very solid card. It's ability to bypass shields is useful in any deck and well worth a look. It's not surprising that this has become one of Gravity's signature cards, given how versatile and robust it can be when you need it to.

Spoiler for Gravy Train Co.:
Today, we will be reviewing Shard of Focus.

Appearance
Nothing special here.  It looks just like all of the other shards but orange.  I feel like it would be better if it had lines of some sort going in, or maybe even a symbol of an eye focusing on it's target.  Still, function is far more important than form, and the form is still enough to get the job done.

Performance
A powerful little bugger.  This shard can lay to waste all of your opponents fancy cards.  You need to purchase an add on to get the full use out of (Gravity Pull™ is this author's favorite) but even the stock version will get you your electrum's worth.

Updates
This baby definitely seems like a step down from the last generation.  Instead of being able to power it with any quanta you want, you have to use gravity quanta now.  That kind of decrease will make people not want to get the new version.  Too bad you don't have a choice.

Final Thoughts
Definitely a buy.  Your friends will be jealous and angry when your toy blows theirs away (and

Boss/FE: I love how Ragnarok made a meme, very innovative idea that none of the other teams thought of. Ours was quite quirky, but gets a point across.

Artist/Writer: Red Stars had beautiful illustrations and the story was nice, while ours has a nice moral at the end for all you little children; remember: do not be a butterfly, you will be bad :D

DB: Sparkle sparkle motherfuckers, sko is here *cough I mean, Edward Cullen is here... *cough | Anyways, ours was very accurate about every little detail and Gravy Train's is.. too good.

CD: Ours synergized well with the three chosen cards (one doesn't even mention which cards it synergizes with, even if it's relatively obvious), while I liked MoL's because of how many things it can do and how it opens up :light/ :entropy synergies.

OT: Ragnarok's was very entertaining and has some rather interesting text at the bottom... :D Ours was interesting in that the product may or may not work well... Buy now! :P

Bonus: Ours and Red Stars were the most complete and looked the most like they could be actual articles on the wiki.

Challenge: MoL's didn't have much action, it seemed like it wasn't a fight as much as it was just standing there and throwing things at the other person, while ours had lots of action and things going on that would make sense in this battle.

I won't bother making official votes. But here's what I think.

artist/writer task : I really like both frosbite and red stars.  Both from the story and the illustration. Very well done guys.

Card designer : I'm not too fond of most of those cards. Heaven+ miracle for a +99 max hp? Trigger a death effect, nothing new. Siphoner sounds overpowered to me.
But I like the totem idea. Would be an obvious boost for gravity/earth. It's something I've seen in other games, but not a bad idea nonetheless.

Deckbuilder: I like critters and the card by card explanation. Well done.
I fail to see how arachnophobia is original as a deck. I would have loved to see both types of recluses.
Twilight is not a horror movie. The fact that brawlmasters even accepted it is, in my opinion, a total joke.

off-topic : I really liked luciferin. I can't give any explanation.

Parody submissions, if honest and clever, are accepted. Gravy's deck submission is both and a 100% accepted submission. Of course, no one is forced to vote for it if he/she dislikes this kind of submissions.

I'd like to say that Miracle doesn't always give +99 HP, it simply sets your HP at your max HP minus 1 (as shown by when you're at full health and Miracle actually deals 1 damage to you). So, it technically doesn't really count as a healing effect (for the card's wording, I know that it also will usually heal you).

Boss + FE: No many explanations... they are just the best I saw.

CD: Gravy's one is indeed very good. The synergies are evident, and a new thing is that lobo can be used in your own creatures for your advantage. I wonder about Titan + FW + Lobo, with some massive dragons. Also low att creatures with adren and BB. I like it.
Siphoner is also good and has it's synergies that makes the card a neat idea to be added to the game.

DB: Frostbite: Excellent. The movie has EVERYTHING and was the one I thought about when I saw the task. Well thought and awesomely done the submission.
I voted for Ragnarok because it was the most creative one I saw. I was between this one and Meaning of Life's one, but all the submission on this task were wonderful.

OT: Frostbite and Ragnarok, both wonderful. You made me wanna buy them, and made me a laugh. Well done, guys!

Bonus: Frostbite's and RS's submissions were the most polished. The other ones weren't bad in general terms, but it's simply seen they could be a bit more polished. The Turq ntmph was VERY close, I was deciding between these 3.
Meaning of Life (whoever made that submission): Wiki code isn't the same as forum code... sorry. It could have been a great wiki article. I hope someone passes that one to wiki code later.

Artist & writer: Again, very close with Gravy. I think I didn't choose Gravy over one of them because of the lack of art.

Spoiler for Boss & FE:
MoL - I wasn't initially impressed, but this task did offer the greater range of solutions, which the most potential success. Let's plays are the obvious solution (and probably the best one too) but you're other notes aren't totally bad.

Frostbite - Erm, what? I'm going to guess that's a song lyric or something, but I'm seriously failing to pull anything from that.

Ragnarok - I'm going to go out on a limb and say Frozen is to blame (at least partly) for your submission. If memes were going to be the saviour of Elements, you could have come up with a better one than that. Seriously.

Gravy Train - A nice little summary, narrowly eaked out to the finish by MoL. Again Let's plays, and hacking twitter accounts which is totally original, but not really realistic in reality.
Spoiler for Artist & Writer:
MoL - Cute little story with some good artwork. The story is definitely suited to children, and has a clear moral (which all children's stories should have IMO). Yeah, I like it.

Frostbite - The story was also good and so was the art (if a little small). Narrowly beaten by MoL, but good work guys.

Ragnarok - It's a good story, but you could have done more than draw just one picture for it. The art side of this lets the submission down, unfortunately.

Gravy Train - The story was a little limp fish; it didn't seem to go anywhere. And the art was a let down as well. Not the best.
Spoiler for DB:
MoL - It's certainly thematic, to a degree, and there's a definite solid deck base in there. A good deck, just not good enough I'm afraid.

Frostbite - Thematically solid, but it doesn't seem to work together enough as a deck . Good again, but not getting the vote.

Ragnarok - Haven't actually seen (or heard of) the film, so I'll just take your word on the description. Everything seems to work thematically with the source and effectively within the deck, which is a recipe for success.

Gravy Train - No, Twilight is not a horror film (and it has appeared too often in this Brawl already if you ask me).
Spoiler for CD:
MoL - I like it. It fits in Light and, as you said, Light doesn't have any CC (except Holy Light) so it's good on that front. Doesn't really "work extremely well" with Liquid Shadow, as Blessing would be better probably, but I'll forgive you that, seeing as the other combos are so strong (yet not OP) and it works with other stuff you didn't mention.

Frostbite - You just countered Pdials harder than Purify does, and that's saying something. Besides that, the two effects seem "tacked on" just for the sake of the task this round. They don't seem related enough to share a card, basically. Plus, the Spark/Salvager combo requires a trio/quartet so I wouldn't call that a great synergy. This would also make healing decks (like Firestall) really OP too, so that's another downside.

Ragnarok - I don't get, thematically, why a spell would trigger a death effect. Nor why I would use this over Cats if I really wanted death effects that bad. It could fit in a Bonebolt (or similar) but that's the only use I can think for it (maybe plagues). And having the Upped cost random quanta is useless since all death effect cards are part of Death anyway.

Gravy Train - The thematic make little sense to me (Why life? Why a totem? Why endurance?) but that could just be me. Explaining the synergies would have been nice, instead of just leaving us to guess. The problem is, this can easily be broken with cards like Voodoo doll (essentially as 20|20 for 2 quanta with the Voodoo passive) and yet underpowered a lot of the rest of the time. There's too few vanillas with high enough HP to warrant this as a combo card. And there are problems with just swapping attack and HP, which should be adressed or avoided all together.
Spoiler for OT:
MoL - A very good submission, with some funny bits as well. Sadly, there were better ones for me.

Frostbite - I'm not sure how Salvager = bin, or where the homicidal streak comes from, but this is a really well written and thought out review. Might not give as much detail and focus a little too much on the humour, but I don't mind that in an OT task.

Ragnarok - By far the best read. But this is way more an advertisement than a review, so I can't vote for you I'm afraid.

Gravy Train - You took the serious route, but there wasn't enough content in it to make it work that well (also looks like you got cut off at the end a little?). Still good though.
Spoiler for Bonus:
MoL - Overlooking the formatting hiccup, the article seems a little lacking to me honestly. Still good, but lacking.

Frostbite - A really good article. End of. Just missing card images is all.

Ragnarok - Nymphs aren't really good targets for wiki articles, because of there rarity, and their uses can just be compared to their alchemy counterpart. It's a decent article, but those points really hinder you. Also, I'm once again blaming Frozen's SoW-reflect addiction for the recommended decks section.

Gravy Train - Too little information and too messy compared to the others (and the wiki standard).

Challenge - Wasn't blown away by either, but I liked Frostbite's more out of the two.

I won't bother making official votes.  IMPORTANT!: If you do not make official votes at your secret section, your votes won't be counted!

Parody submissions, if honest and clever, are accepted. Gravy's deck submission is both and a 100% accepted submission. Of course, no one is forced to vote for it if he/she dislikes this kind of submissions.

off-topic : I really liked luciferin. I can't give any explanation.

It's not a parody submission, it is not respecting the task. But idc.
