Of Mice and Men

Sad story, especially the ending.

That was Then, This is Now by S.E. Hinton

Another sad ending story

I saw the movie on that, and yes it is sad

The Kite Runner - Khaled Housseini
A young afghan boy, Amir and his friend set out to win the local Kite-fighting tournament.
But a tragic trail of events leads Amir down a winding path of tragedy, which ultimately can only be healed by one thing - Redemption

The Vampire Saga - Darren Shan
Vampires n shit, ends up in war between two clashing races - the vampires and the vampaneze.

The chronicles of Ancient Darkness - Michelle Paver
Honestly my favorite series of books of all time
Set roughly six thousand years ago, Torak is forced out of the comfortable life he leads with his father when a demon bear is unleashed on the forest he lives in. Seeking solace, and ultimately finding it in the shape of a small, scraggly wolf cub, Torak starts out on a journey that will eventually take him all over the world.

Skeleton Crew: A compilation of short stories written by Stephen King. Includes the novella, The Mist and 22 other short horror stories. Very gory with deranged concepts, intricate symbolism, and truly rivetting characters. A very invigorating read.  :)
