Surely you have to have a favorite or one you have read more than the others?

My favorite "book" is the series (5 Books) of "The Banned and the Banisched" by James Clemens.
Heck of an awesome story! Read it a bunch of years ago when I was in Ireland and started to re-read it a week ago. Yep, defenitely worth it!

Also, for everyone who can understand german: pretty much anything from Wolfgang Hohlbein is awesome!
Two series that need to be read are: "Die Chronik der Unsterblichen" and "Der Hexer von Salem"

Ten posts and not one mention of Tolkien?  I'll cover that, I guess.  Beyond LotR, some of his other stories are great too.  Ever read Farmer Giles of Ham?

I am also a fan of Walter Wangerin Jr.  The Book of the Dun Cow and The Book of Sorrows are two of the best books I have ever read.  Most people I talk to haven't heard of them; if you haven't, you need to check them out.
