Supernova is limited to Health replenishment and does not restore Energy or Stamina, although the item description still says it does.

When Chimera appears, the creature image, stats, and "Does not consider you worthy" message repeats several times like so:

The Monsterbook is now sorted by range, but only by the first digit of the range. This causes monsters of levels 10-19 to be listed before level 2 monsters, which in turn immediately precede the level 20 Chimera. Levels 3-9 come after that.

I don't know if this is an issue, but the Chimera got ported in with damage on it already. It's roaming at 9321 HP.
