Title: Antlion OTK [Impractical? Nuh uh, gurlfriend]
Post by: whatifidogetcaught? on December 13, 2012, 03:02:16 pm
Not so long ago, a man by the name of ARTHANASIOS posted in the "Powerfully Impractical" section, that 6 Antlions, 6 Empathetic Bonds, 6 Mitosis, and 6 Enchant Artifacts would make the "Ultimate Healing Stall".

Seeing the nature of the thread, it didn't seem that impractical to make a OTK with Shard of Patience, according to UndeadSpider1990.

I decided that this challenge should be accepted! With a little tweaking, I present to you, the

ANTLIONlol wut?OTK

I am sure this deck needs more tweaking, but it does decently against Level 3 and could confuse some people in PvP2!

The Antlion is the base of your deck, what the OTK is based on. What you do is Mitosis it, and Burrow the Antlions immediately. With a Shard of Patience out, their attack power will increase at a double rate, because when they are unburrowed, their attack power doubles. The Protect Artifacts are for the Feral Bonds, which give you stalling ability while you set up.

This deck is very vulnerable to early CC, so be sure to play an Antlion without the Mitosis starting out, so you don't lose the spell!

Here is a couple of the deck's accomplishments!

I love it. While it might not be the most practical of decks, it's original and makes use of the game's worst card. Very well done ^_^

Might I suggest removing a few PA's and bonds? -3 of each and you'll have a slimmer, moar effective deck. In theory. I'm not certain how much the deck relies on having 6 protected bonds.

I thought of something like this once. Didn't work for me.
Looks interesting, only four Ants though?
Deck of the month!

I testify that this deck works, and it works amazingly.  It is super fun to use and to troll any person that you come against.  However this deck does not work very well against creature control rainbow decks.

Unupped antlion might be one of the worst, but upped its not half bad.
Is 6 PA's really need in the deck? I think 4 or 5 would be enough. And by the looks of it, your getting more then enough earth quanta.

You might put in gnomes and go with lie towers keeping the mark to the actual one.

Yay for being mentioned! This looks nice. See also Antlion's Revenge (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,45189.0.html), by none other than the challenger himself, ARTHANASIOS.

Also, superantlions once 1.32.

Would need tweaking obviously, but my goodness that would be a potentially devastating deck.
