A Fog Comes Before the Storm aka My Evil Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=10101.msg122369#msg122369

I present what i like to call my evil deck  >:D.  Its a completely annoying deck that is a very effective biting farm in t50 when I'm in the mood.

I've been working on a flying eagle eye deck for a long time but hadn't found a build I liked until this build.  Its basically a combination of a stall with the SoG and Fog and extreme creature control with the flying eagle eye and lightning storm.  The basic strategy is stall until you get 3-4 lightning storm built up and the opponent has a field full of creatures then chain them and use the eagle eye to pick off what ever creatures are left.  In PvP tests I've taken out 8+ creatures in a turn with this combo.  Its quite effective versus rush decks.

Deck updated with the awesomeness of pendulums for extra eq mitigation.

I actually started with a version of a deck similar to the one Octane uses.  However I quickly found out that without 2x draw and a 3x mark that it doesn't work quite as well.  Not saying its not effective, it is, but quanta is always very tight and you need to play eagles eyes and gasses to get the advantage and this is often difficult to do.

Code: [Select]
7dk 7dk 7dm 7dm 7dm 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6
It may do well to add some explosions in, but at the cost of consistancy.  The deck is somewhat light in damage, so shields or a horde of SoG will rape it.  Its a one dimensional deck, but completely lethal at that one dimension as long as the opponent has creatures to hammer.  I'll have to test it with a few explosions and see if it helps much.

I'd swap out the fire lances for fog shields, seeing as how you eagle's eyes, or more pillar, or 2 SoGs.
You could play six unstable gases and then explode them all at once :3

i don't think fire lances are good in a deck with so low fire quannta,if you think you have to few then take elite fireflies maybe?

Why not throw in a wings or two?  If the opponent has no flying critters then they'll be devastated and if not, just keep up the fog shields.  I fought this deck in t50 today and it was annoying... i barlely managed to take it down and didnt get my 12th copy of owls eye  :(

Not a bad idea actually.  I'll have to look into it.  I'm not a fan of timed shield, but I don't usually like stall either so who knows.

Try the deck in the first post -2 SoG +2 Wings.  I've never been a fan of having 6 SoG in one deck, especially not a small deck like this.  Then again, if its supposed to be a biting Owl Eye/SoG farm, leave it with 6 SoG.

Why not have unupgraded animate weapons you got plenty of air quanta but the fire quanta seems to be scarce so you should preserve it.
