I've been playing all day testing this deck, and i ended on a 30-11 record and didn't have too much trouble with any particular god so far. I have yet to face obliterator, and i can imagine he would destroy this deck since hope is the only real defense, but i really like the deck layout - nice and simple with about a 75% win ratio

would 1 luciferin work? seeing that light dragons don't have an ability, and lobotomize does make those photons into duds...

After some real playing
I found that obliterator is not a instant loss
u need an electrocutor fast but don't lobotomize his shriekers
let them burrow
only lobotomize anything that has momentum
difficult to EM though, as eventually pulvy comes out and ruins your SoGs

I'd replace one light dragon with one or two archangels... that way you have something to fractal and make a damaging army out of that doesn't cost 13 light quanta (ouch) to play, and it can also absorb hits from things like eagle eyes and then heal them away.

not sure what priority the computer gives angels but dragons have priority over ROL so maybe thats why.

yeah i can see how adding an archangel would be attractive, but i would probably end up with 2 dragons and an archangel in the deck, since eagles eye would always target dragons over all else, the heals would come in handy and keep targeting off RoL

What I like with this deck is that he win easily against FG that are almost impossible with my rainbow deck... The easiest FG with this deck are Divine Glory and Seism. Even Rainbow is not so tough...

I nearly EM'ed Dark Matter. I walled him, lobotomized everything, but the last turn he brought out an elite charger....:(
Still, won 2 cards from him.

The nerf already happened to some extent. Hope had its quantum cost increased and it's effectiveness decreased. It's still ridiculously overpowered, though. However, as Zanz has already gone over this card, I doubt he will look at it again for the foreseeable future. Anyway, the 'nerf' really didn't hurt this deck, as light quanta is very easy to come by.

Good idea with the lobotomizer by the way, I'll test it some and then maybe modify the OP.

Ridiculously overpowered? Not really, mass controls screws it and, to an extent, any type of control does. It's just that the AI sucks.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that there are other powerful defensive ways besides the Quinted Oty/Bonewall combo. But still, if you compare it to e.g. Phase Shield, which lasts for only three turns and can be destroyed, Hope which can block hundreds of damage per turn, lasts forever and cannot be stolen of destroyed seems overpowered. Of course, it requires the right deck built around it, which is why it's okay.
