I've played dozens of games, and have yet to find a use for purify in the deck. I just replace it with a deathstalker for added poison.

-Poisondials  :water/ :death style is pretty self explanitory. Play those Physalias and Arsenics whenever possible, rack up tons of Poison Counters, win. Arsenic is excellent for racking up Poison Counters if you do encounter any SoSac decks and need to Purify the AI's SoSac.
Ever thought about using Shard of Rediness in this deck?
You could stop the fight when oponent has Shard of Sacrifice up, let your creatures grow and kill him (hopefully with 1 hit).
That's SoP, not SoR.

I can't get more than a win in a row with this deck and have been trying it since 1.3 came out (all of a day or two ago).  I realize it's supposed to be "amazing" but it just isn't working for me.  Firstly, the deck has a problem with the starting hand.  You're going to either discard cards, have multiple novas, or be blowing novas rather than discarding them until you can get a combo of scorp + (chaos power OR unstoppable).  If you try and pop SoDs instead of discarding you're risking the random 3quant to be from your needed chaos or gravity quanta.  It's very frustrating.

The other problem I find is when you need the purity, late game when you have enough poison ticking on the opponent and they pop a SoSa you've got to combo it with a nova and a purity because you've been nuking your own water quanta with SoSas on yourself.

I'd appreciate it if someone could take the time to explain how to use this deck in a bit of detail if they are having a different experience than I am.

And so what are those?  Do you dump scorps and unstoppable/chaos power if you have another one of you - thinking you really need to just get 1 scorp out during the course of the game?  The AI seems to be very smart to neuro poison - if it gets some damage out before you apply any neuro it'll stop and just beat on you without playing more cards.  Therefore, you need to drop those scorps very early and quickly.  Just hanging around discarding cards for the first 2-3 turns seems very counterproductive to me.  That's why I'm interested in your more detailed advice.

i usually get a scorp out on the 2nd turn u can discard scorps u have 5 and dot need ALL of them so that leaves room discard precogs (definetly) if theres nothing discard.if u have all shards in your hand than play a SoD or 2 to clear your hand if theres no cards that you want to discards than plan ahead youre not going to win them all. it also depends on the opponent. so you do have to take risks. and plan what youre going to do with ur quanta b4 and after sosacs. i like to try and keep a nova or 2 in my hand at all times if i have to discard i PLAY a sod.

No the Combo consistency definitely needs to be looked at. I think Ullapool has a valid point.

I actually play with -1 Precog and +1 Nova now. This way you will more likely get two in your starting hand and only have to wait one turn before you can get a combo out. Also, more Novas mean you can play your SoDs more safely.

i usually get a scorp out on the 2nd turn . . .
Let's look at this statement some...
Two scenarios - you either WIN the coin flip or lose it:
WIN COIN FLIP:
TURN 1: You have no quanta, there's no towers in this deck, so you have no reason to play any card since you're not at max hand.  You play nothing and end your turn with +1 time quanta.
TURN 2: You start this turn if you're lucky (no devourer or super-fast discord/BH) with 1 time quanta.  If you're going to play a scorpion this turn you HAVE to be playing 2 novas.  That means your starting hand + 1 card had to consist of: 2 novas + 1 scorp + 1 of either (unstoppable OR chaos power).  Either way, if you play this, you've got extra quanta created in every 'color' - 2 in all but gravity or chaos (1 because you spent 1 of them - or maybe both - on Unstopable or Chaos Power).  So maybe you blow so SoDs right now - but probabilistically you might see your Chaos or Gravity quanta sucked away here - essentially 'wasting' those quanta from the 2nd nova.  You could have passed again, being quanta conservative but you would have had to discard a card.

LOSE COIN FLIP:
This is bad, you'd rather win it.
TURN 1: You start off by drawing a card, so you're already at > hand size.  So you MUST play a card or discard.  Presuming you aren't interested in discarding cards, you probably play a nova (if you're lucky and drew one).
TURN 2: You're at 2 time nova now (and 1 of everything else).  You're also at > max hand size.  Best case scenario you blow another Nova and immediately play out scorp + unstoppable OR chaos power - again, praying they didn't 2nd turn discord / black hole / devour and totally ruin your plans.

Either way, the first turn or two is really sketchy and if the AI has any extremely early (or lucky) quanta denies you're basically dead on arrival - might as well fold the game.  Not getting the 1st neuropoison out on the 2nd turn is basically end of game in my experience.  The games are tight enough that even if they do you still are going to have a hard time.

I really think the meta is destroying this deck.

I've been running into a LOT of healing decks - just simply fractal decks + a few Santuaries OR Feral Bonds OR SoGs totally destroy this - hell, even simple Heals, Stone Skins, Miracles, etc wreck it.  I had a game earlier where they enemy had fractaled simple Dragonflies to the point where his entire board was full of dragonflies- but with his 4 Feral Bonds up he was healing some 60+ (he also had a few sanctuaries) a turn and even though I had some 55 neuropoison on him he wasn't scared.  Especially after his entire board is full he has no reason to fear.  You'd think dropping all of those creatures would be deadly for the AI given the neuropoison consequences but with all that healing he had nothing at all to fear.

You might think an effective counter to this deck would involve purities to get the poison off of you but it seems so simple (and I've been having success myself simply) building turn-based healing decks.

I wish I was having luck with this.  Are others not experiencing what I'm saying above?

i get bad draws to everyone does i usually get scorps out on 2nd turn and sure i waste some quanta but as long as you get the scorp with chaos power or/and unstoppable on it then thats the important thing (and being able to use sosacs). you can get it out by the 3rd turn and still win too.

My problem with this deck isn't even the quanta issue.  It's more that I conveniently fight those decks that put out ~15-18 damage and not more than that until I would result in not enough HP to play SoSa.  Is the AI programmed to slow down their damage output if you started playing SoDs right when you get them?  Like, are you supposed to hold onto your SoDs until you reach low HP or something?

On a related note, in those rare instances where I can progress, it's usually when they have 20-23 damage.  Because of that, I'm usually forced to chain SoSas since I can't gain enough HP back.  This results in the AI hoarding most of their cards, slowing down neurotoxin, and making it more and more risky to stop the chain, since they'll have a ton of damage to put out.

And as said above, the healing decks, purify decks, etc. are also a problem.
