Would this carry over when the target is Animated?  It does sound stupid, but Enchant doesn't carry over, so just wondering.

I don't mean to start any semantic quibles here, just thought I should point this out.
I think you may want to call this tempering, not temperance.
Tempering seems like what you are going for here, heating a metal to make it stronger.
Temperance refers restraint or moderation, often in reference to some form of addictive or enticing behaviour.
I had thought it was a light spell at first... lol.
Cool idea though. Nice artwork too.

i am not clear with the effect.... i am sorry but does this mean that in turn 1 u deal extra 5 damage with the weapon, then in turn 2 it will deal 10 damage?? in turn 3 it will deal 15 damage is it?? if i am playing farenheit and using this card, will both effects stack?? it will be a little op don u think?? i think this card should remove the effect of the weapon when cast?? like acceleration or vampire...... i really like the card, but i can see how i can abuse its potential..... sorry maybe i understand the effect wrongly.....

I really like this effect.  This is the type of "fun" card that fire needs.  Useful, but doesn't really add to the OP-ness of the element.

This does look like a fun card :) I do think that 4 might be a bit better than 5 for the upgraded, though that's just my gut feeling.

it would have been set to 4 if the cost had remained at 1,  but i felt that was too much for a 1 quanta card, so i bumped the cost and effect by 1

Would be good with Vamp Daggers, or maybe PU Lobos?

I think the upped is a little too powerful though. I know the damage:cost ratio is only slightly better but you have to think about the card advantage. It's like Ash Eater sucks at 2 damage for one cost but would be broken at 10 damage for 5 cost. I think that's why upped Poison is only 3 for 2.

have to keep in mind this is a bonus to weapons, which are benefactors of cost reductions, limiting this card to weapon buffs allows it some more freedom than for ash eaters or any other creature.  blessings do a 1:1 cost:+atk ratio, but that is for creatures, and also has an equal hp buff to boot.  this is purely a +atk card, limited to weapons, a 1:2 cost:+dmg ratio and a 2:5 cost:+dmg ratio, respectively, isnt terrible for a weapon buff.  and also you can find creatures with roughly as good cost:atk ratios in the game already, minor phoenixes cost 2 and deal 4 damage, the unupped tempering does the same ratio, but as a weapon, the upped does a slightly better ratio, but again is limited to a weapon.
