Interesting.
I think it's a bit OP though.
Any deck that lacks permanent control will probably be stopped dead in its tracks.
Hope is already bad enough, and even IT is vulnerable to mass CC AND has a limit.
I don't know though, The lack of immaterial status might be somewhat balancing.
+ it IS expensive.

It might seem overpowered, but since it can only use its ability once per turn, it takes forever to reach its potential. Not to mention that it costs 2 Fire AND  a Creature. I think that makes things a little more balanced.

But, in the end, if used correctly, can rival Hope on terms of defence.

Because I think that is OP.
Any shield that good so far can be taken care of, even if it's protected. Dissipation Shield: just extremely much damage/black hole and RoL Hope just needs creature control.

Just a few sundials to give this shield time to charge up and it's invincible.

Creature control is what stops this shield. It relies on SACRIFICING creatures, so if there aren't any to sacrifice, it's useless. It might need to be implemented that creatures need to be on the field for one whole turn before being sacrificed, just to even things up a bit more.

Otherwise it's just one fractal and you have a hand full of free ball lightnings that you can easily sacrifice one by one.

Well, yes. That was part of our original design idea. We were trying to find a way for low-power creatures to have a greater use, similar to Butterfly Effect.

In the end, the largest synergy given is between this card and Aflatoxin.

But think about it, it takes quanta and a creature, once per turn. That means that it would take 10 turns just to get stronger. Don't get me started on Hope.

It seems fairly balanced to me, but it might be hard to implement. I dont know how difficult it would be to let shields use abilities since none of the others have active abilities.
