IDEA:
Xenocidius, inspired by Iman00b8 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=31908)
NOTES:
So this gives Death some permanent control, as well as a way to take down stacking permanents.

Basically, the target permanent stack gains a purple skull icon (like poison). Note that the 'stack' can be a single permanent. When the player who owns that permanent stack completes their turn, one permanent in that stack is destroyed. It keeps the icon, and the process repeats each turn until the stack is destroyed.

Its most powerful use is against pillars, pendulums, shards and Bone Wall.

I'm not sure whether it should stack (destroy X permanents in target stack, X = number of Corrosion spells played on it). At the moment I'm thinking that may be somewhat OP, but that's open to discussion.

The card idea is great. The cost and the effect are balanced.

I'm just wondering why it's in Death.

Death is all about gradual damage/decay, of course. This is evident in things such as poison. Plus, where else would it fit?

Ok, while I was searching for another option, I realised you were right. :)
Corrosion is a matter of Chemistry. And Chemistry is in Life. But, Life creates, heals and preserves. Death, as the direct opposite to Life is the best place to put Corrosion. QED.

I support this!
We need more PC.

EDIT: Thinking again... ok, if i have many pillars, say 6-7, it would takes 6-7 turns to destroy them. In this case i can even continue play pillars on that stack.
If i have a few pillars (2-3), i can let the stack dissolve and then start a new stack.
Yeah, i like it and i think it's balanced BUT multiple casts of this spell shouldn't stack or it would be OP.

It should probably leave one in the stack at the very least, since I personally believe insta-kill should be limited to the PC we have now.
Though, not a big issue to discuss.

Would it be possible to protect a permanent from corrosion? I mean, since this spell does not immediately destroy the target, maybe Protect Artifact saves it, or we may cast a single PC (such as Deflagration) on a corroding stack to avoid collapsing of the entire stack.

If protect artifact and deflagration removes corrosion, then the cost should be lowered a little, maybe to 3 :death|2 :death.
But i like the possibility. I always think that adding interactions with other cards increases the strategy of the whole game.
Example: i've got only 1 explosion and my pillars are corroding and my opponent have a nasty shield. Where will i use it?

I wonder the same and want to go further. Is corrosion contagious? I mean what happen if someone with a stack of quantum pillar use steal on the opponent's stack of corroded quantum pillar? which stack is corroded now, both?

Hmm. At the moment stealing a corroded pillar would mean both your opponent's pillar stack and yours are corroded. However, if the destroy-removes-corrosion thing was implemented, it would remove corrosion from your opponent's stack and transfer it to yours. I'll add a poll.
